Look! Look! A background that I spent more than five minutes on! Aren't you proud of
me?
College and work seem to be plotting against me to devour all my spare time, hence the severe lack of updates. I will try and make up for this (somewhat) whenever I have time off. This week I have some time of college while the teachers asses this term's work (sweatdrop) and I'm going to see if I can whack out two or three pages. Wish me luck!

Wow, I think this must be a personal record... MONTHS since my last update. But, for once,
it's not due to my vast capacity for laziness! Quite the opposite, in fact! I've been so
incredibly busy since... well, since September I guess. College is a BIG time and energy
devourer... But the main thing is the Christmas-craft-sale-thing I was selling my
jewellery at. Any spare time I had around college and work I spent making, making,
making... @_@
So I've just been adding a little bit to this page every time I had a moment... which is why the style is a little inconsistent. Some bits are done well and others rushed out...
Actually, that makes it sound like I had a really miserable time, which is just not true. Although I was working really hard, I really enjoyed it. After almost a year of not really doing much it's nice to feel so productive! :) And, for an anti-social hermit like me, making jewellery whilst watching cartoons/anime and drinking gallons of tea is one of the finer ways to spend a weekend.
Also, I made about four hundred pounds! 8D

We're going away for the weekend and as such I wont have access to a computer to tone or
upload the next page. It'll be up some time next week. In the mean time, here is a picture
of a future character. :) I would say, guess what card she represents, but I think it's
rather obvious. XD

I utterly ADORE this comic. I just found it the other day and I can truly say that it is
one of my absolute favourites on smackjeeves. Your artwork is beautiful, I love all your
characters and the story is wonderful but the real icing on the cake, for me, is the
clothes you draw. Kea's pouffy skirts and Zoshi/Koshi's little boots and waistcoats bring
me much joy! 8D
Also, Zoshi/Koshi is just a BRILLIANT character in general. :) You have gained an avid reader!

This is really cute and pretty but... erm.. why is Misere doing a rude hand gesture?? I
can help thinking it seems kind of out of place with the cuteness of the picture.

Are the thoughts clear enough?

Better? I found out what the problem was: for some reason, converting from a photoshop format into a jpeg was making the dropped shadows paler. So I had to over compensate to get them to look right.
