Saki gets up to answer the call. It's Mallory prattling on about some Dreaming Tree, and Saki vows vengeance.
@GabrielsThoughts: Well, the point there is irony. She clearly hasn't gone that far, but for Mallory, she's gone far enough that it's going to be a challenge to find her.

She's a precocious explorer and sneak.
Episode Overview
Cyrus and Odran come in to find that Mallory has disappeared, and now they have to track her to Brookwood Forest--but she has a few tricks up her sleeve.
@GabrielsThoughts: Coneheads reference?
Mallory wakes up in the wee hours of the morning to discover that Cyrus had never planned to help her get to the Dreaming Tree. She’s short on time if she doesn’t want to get caught by her grandfather, so what will she do?
A little gift for you all since I wasn't able to get a comic out this week. New one next week, though! The script is already up on Patreon! Have a happy summer, folks.
@Squirreltastic-Blue: Stay tuned, that's coming up very, very soon.
@GabrielsThoughts: Hahahaha. Achievement Unlocked: Master References
@Squirreltastic-Blue: Cyrus is a smart guy. He's already thought several moves ahead! His reasons will be revealed...
The gravedigger finally tells Mallory his name, and Mallory reveals why she's come to the graveyard. What do you think he's going to do? You ready to see the Dreaming Tree?
@Squirreltastic-Blue: You know, someone else thought that, too. I will tell you she's not a ghost, and she isn't dead. But she does lead a different lifestyle. More of that will come out as the story unfolds.
@Oly-RRR: Not sarcasm, haha! About to post the next episode. It'll shed a hint of a light on Ava and why she would say something like that.
@Oly-RRR: I did not know that... Gonna have to check that out.
Come and support Mal on Patreon for as little as $1 a month!
@mckee11223: Wow, thanks for the nomination! That's really cool, and I'm glad your enjoying Mallory Bash.
@Squirreltastic-Blue: Yeah, I never liked the whole "strictly on-model" way of working. That's how you get the dead-eyed, expressionless animations that are Family Guy and The Simpsons (for the last ten years, at least).
@Oly-RRR: I'm enjoying it quite a bit, but it certainly is a time-consumer. I'll get faster the more I do it, though.

That new character is going to be a big one for this season, too!
Working Out the Schedule and Art
The first episode of Season Two is complete, but I want to warn you all that I'm going to be readjusting a lot with this season, so bear with me. I'm going to feel out good posting days and times, and it'll likely be a drop biweekly instead of weekly--because coloring like this takes time!

A lot of people really wanted color, so I'm working out a balance of quick and good. This took me a collective fourteen hours to complete.

Let me know what you think in the comments!
Coming soon...
@mitchellbravo: Thanks! It's going to be a bear doing every comic in color, but color is just too important to the style of the series to keep doing black and white.
