An assorted series of concept art from over the years working on Mallory Bash. This'll give you a better look at some of the places you've only KIND of seen, and a sort of a "behind-the-scenes" look at some development.
Mallory has traveled to more cartoon universes! Can you guess which cartoon each Mallory is from?
@Squirreltastic-Blue: Yes, Yes, Yes, No, Yes, Yes, Yes, No.

That's about what I figured, because the Doug one was super difficult to draw and the other two you got wrong are stylistically similar to the ones you guessed. Especially the last one.
Which cartoon is each Mallory from? Some are easy, some are just a little more challenging, and some just aren't that good artistically--my bad--but they all belong to a different cartoon! Post your answers in the comments.
Our first set of fan art! During Intermission, updates will be a bit more sporadic, which I figure you're all probably okay with since it isn't regularly scheduled programming. Plus, probably means more stuff!
This is from Filip Kull (A.K.A. "TheNiceZombie").

Our first guest comic and the very first piece of Intermission artwork! Love the colors and fun of it. Really just a great first comic to break away from the drama we left on. I highly suggest checking out his character designs. He has a separate comic just for those.

Filip's Info:

We're gonna post your art and link to your stuff! I've got a few folks in the mix now, and I'm looking for more.

I'm happy to finally have a way for you all to get involved with the comic a little more. And it can be anything! Any medium! I've already got someone composing music, even, so give me whatever you like and as long as it's related to Mallory in some way, we'll get you posted.
@Squirreltastic-Blue: I actually did think about that! That might be a pretty cool idea for Intermission material.
We have reached the middle of our story--the mid-season Intermission of The Dreaming Tree Saga! Some strange things are happening and the secrets are seeping out... Stay tuned for intermission updates and prepare yourself for some wild revelations! Oh, and if you're feeling frisky, pop a review down on the main page or the comment section and I'll take your thoughts into account moving forward!
@O.O: He's actually old money. His family is hyper-rich, always has been.
Ava is confronted by her recent past when an embittered Milk Carton Kid in a shredded teddy bear suit accuses her of abandonment.
@Squirreltastic-Blue: I actually learned primarily by studying a few different artists, but by far most notably the artwork from this narrative adventure game called Forest of Liars. I really love the background art for it. Basically I took what I studied and simplified it a bit to fit the Mallory Bash style.

Check it out here:
@Squirreltastic-Blue: Well, it's a pseudo-recycled background from "Before These Crowded Streets," but I updated the sky to reflect to new time of day. Yeah, when I did it back when, it took three weeks of after-work hours, haha.
Opal takes to the sky once again, with Isaac and Mallory on her maiden voyage over Moonblush! Mallory's having a blast, but they don't know where Opal's taking them!
@Squirreltastic-Blue: My pleasure, my friend. Glad you're enjoying it.

There's so much coming.
@Admin: Nice. I am also Dirk, but I am Dirk Hardslab.
@Squirreltastic-Blue: Thanks! I'm learning little by little. This is my first web comic, and you can definitely see it changing drastically over time.
