@Merceneiress: Bradley expressed the sentiment a bit more pithily, and by repute; there weren't many witnesses: You just don't know when to shut up, George. The movie was on the right track. Also, Patton was a bit of a rectal opening; it's not beyond the pale that some of his colleagues could have used @Dragonrider's phrasing to/about him. (Side note: the opening speech from the movie was a standard speech Patton gave on lots of occasions. He spoke without notes, though, so minor details of his phrasing varied from time to time.)
