You know, since it took me so long to complete this page, I had decided that I should
probably put more work into it than the usual "draw and post" method I do. All
in all, I think this page took me three hours- more time than I've spent on any page that
I've ever done. The reason? Well... I thought that doing a multi-media page would look
better. If you don't notice, the backgrounds of each of the panels are magazine clippings
that I used or formed into the position or style that I wanted. To tell the truth, the
original doesn't look as good as this- thank you Paint and GIMP!! Haha.
Anyway... I'm gonna continue my little side story for a couple more pages. I just want to explain why Charlie is how she is, and also explain a few things that had previously gone unexplained... If you don't know, then you'll see in a page or two. :D
If you can't tell, I'm a little proud of this page. XD

I, of course, want to make Charlie seem more 'badass' than she used to be, so I came up
with an idea where she used to live on the streets, used to only be able to care for
number 1. Meaning... she'll be less trusting and more likely to be pissed about the
world. All in all, this isn't the Charlie that everyone knew back in Lily Manor. ^^
Still... she will get back some kindness in the next few pages. I promise you that.
She's not a total badass when she has a heart and all. Haha.
When I first thought this up, I was going to do it completely on my computer. And then... I got lazy. And then busy. And then lazy again. I suppose I drew it just to remember what I wanted to do, writing down the monologue as what I wanted it to say so that I had a basis of a mini script for what I wanted. Eventually, I just redrew it on whatever I had close at hand and scanned it, added bits and pieces onto it to make it look pretty, and... here we are! I promise that I will continue this train of thought so that we have a good idea about what really makes this character tick. It's been pretty fun so far, and I really can't wait to see what happens next. ^^ Still... even if I have a good basis worked out, I don't really know if I'll use all of it. Nonetheless, I'm positive this won't be more than four or five pages at most.
That said, what do you guys think? It was the only thing I could think of to do- go into my character- to move along the imagination of the others that I know are lingering out there! ^^

Anyway... I'm trying so hard not to start other things right now. I've had so many good ideas recently, but I've been jotting down ideas for another comic- but I swear that I won't upload it online until I have more pages for this. I swear to whatever Gods or Goddesses (or angry little kids with game controllers) that I will uphold that promise.
For as long as I can.
Anyway... I'll try to get another page up in the week (it gives me three days to panic over it), or sooner if I can help it.
