Thank you for all of your work over the years. This comic helped me through so much. I’ll miss it but I’m grateful that you told this story. Between Celebrate and this page, this feels like the perfect ending.

Thank you. I’m glad you found your way out of the darkness. I wish you nothing but the best.
Panel 5 says “work thought”. It should probably be “work through “
This is not the response I would have expected from Bree.

On one hand, it could have been a lot worse, but on the other... she latched onto “boy”. The more I think about this, the more it seems that this is the worst response she could recieve.

While she’s had people go away or physically hurt her, it’s never been this acceptance and validation of the negative image she has of herself when she gets low. Personally, I think that is far worse than rejection of her being trans is (I hope this comes across clear).
I'm sure you'll have already checked for yourself by now, but yes, this movie is Irish (while looking for a copy of it myself I read up on it). How was it? I take it we get to read more commentary on it throughout the week?
She knows Annie has the tools to work through these things on her own. She’s seen her do it. Annie is processing. From Dr. Bernt’s standpoint, this is probably good to let her try to handle this on her own and step in if she feels the need to. From a reader standpoint, knowing all we know, yeah this may not be the best decision.

I’m really curious how this plays out, especially with your foreshadowing.
A rant can be part of a conversation... kind of. But that's not why I brought up the comment window.

Yes, we can discuss content!

It seems a lot like Annie wants to be stopped from leaving. She knows she needs to talk, but can't necessarily force herself to do it. "But you won't" seems a bit like saying "please force me to stay". She can't do what she needs to so she needs someone else to force her to. Also, she dropped some serious hints about what she needs to talk about.

I have to question Dr. Bernt's decision to let her go without actually talking about it. At least Annie isn't disconnecting (yet).

Also, the new Dashboard Confessional song "Heart Beat Here" is fantastic! (It has nothing to do with the content of this page, I just wanted to share that)
I love the not really legible text. If I can't read it, I usually save the image, bring it into Photoshop and lighten it so I can read all of it. Please keep doing that when appropriate. It adds this extra dimension to the page.
I’m curious now. Why do bagels matter to you? (Sorry I’m a bit late on this)
@GreenKrog: Damnit you caught me! My AI is well programmed. I thought for sure I had you fooled.

Apparently not. Time for some coding changes I suppose.
Panel five “your” should be “you’re”
“Insignificant” is missing an “n” in panel five.
