This page is much wordier than my usual fare. The middle panel also took a really long time to complete. Granted, I wanted to take 2 weekends off and focus on Inktober, after which I got really (uncharacteristically) sick and spent most of my free time sleeping. Anyways, here’s a long overdue update…
@Geneseepaws: Thank you! :)
@McMac McScot: Totally agree with you on that!

@Geneseepaws: I'm glad you find this page moving. :)
Worked on this page while listening to the new Tool album. IT WAS AMAZING.
This page marks the start of another weird (yet pretty dramatic) sequence. I’m excited!
Also, unfortunately, now that September is here I will be going back to work and updates might slow down.
@mitchellbravo: LMAOOO, I hadn't even THOUGHT of that. It's too hilarious. XD

I've never actually knitted before! I did crochet for a while though. :) Hope you enjoy it this fall.
It feels SO WEIRD drawing non-shirtless Punch!
@BBeth: Totes agree. :)
As I prepared to upload this page, my cat screamed at me over her half-full food bowl, because how dare I?!
@Oly-RRR: Thanks! :D
Also, I'm very glad you're enjoying this story.
@Oly-RRR: Interesting! I should really look into that. I'd prefer it instead of "Scavenger" or "Scav".
@Oly-RRR: <Uncomfortable silence>
@Oly-RRR: You should totally give it a shot if you have the chance/time! :)

I went the digital route for 5 years with my previous webcomic thinking it'd be easier and by the end of it, I found that I was barely improving and that the process felt like a chore. Plus, computer-crashes and vacations severely limited my productivity.

Switching back to traditional (which is what I've always done best) was a great choice for me - it takes a lot longer and it involves a LOT of planning when applying colours and shading, but it's a rewarding labour of love. I just love manipulating everything manually!
@Oly-RRR: I like the farming game comparison; I love that kind of cutesy aesthetic. :)

Oof, I don't even think the original comment was intended to be mean! It sounded so matter-of-fact that it just increased my frustration.
@Oly-RRR: Yay! :D
@mitchellbravo: LOL, glad you enjoyed that. XD
@mitchellbravo: Haha, your comment is really reassuring. XD Sometimes I doubt the romantic/sexy aspects of my script.
@mitchellbravo: Hehe, thanks! :D
@mitchellbravo: Yay, glad you found this comic! :D
