Favorite quote is:
"I'll love you until the goddamn stars burn out."
Garth Ennis (Preacher)

Favorite movie is anything by John Carpenter.

I'm not a fan of manga. I am a fan of Kyle Hotz, Mignola, Byrne, Lee, Wrightson and Kirby.

I don't believe video games and TV fucks kids up. Adults can do it all on their own.

First novel I read was Dracula

Last good game I played was Darksiders.

I hate emo music.

The Ramones were the greatest punk band of all time.

Currently I love the shit out of The Sword - Warp Riders album.

I buy both digital and vinyl music. It makes me feel old and young all at once.

I think cynicism and the general sense of self righteous arrogance that the Internet provides people is a terrible thing.

Harry Knowles is a fucking moron.

I support the West Memphis Three.

Warren Ellis is a awesome comic writer.

I really need to stop typing now.

The end.

@mrwiggles: Long story short, I took it down and started again with Mighty Monster and Ghost Girl. In theory it sucks and wasn't an easy decision to make after crossing the three hundred page mark but for better or worse I decided to run with Mighty Monster instead.

I'd fav'd this comic based solely on the art, finally sat down and read the entire thing tonight. Glad I fav'd it. There's some damn good storytelling here. Looking forward to seeing where it all goes.
The Good Stuff
This comic is awesome! Kirby would be proud! Hopefully with some time you'll build a decent size audience.

I love the job you're doing on this. The narrative is genuinely compelling. Very nice story so far.
Keep Going!
I read through both your comic and your comments sections. Thought I give my two cents.

First off I think the comic is okay. Your obviously very creative but seem to be struggling with your approach. Just keep going and use as much reference as possible and I think you'll find your niche. Telling a story in a fun and creative way is hard to do. It may take you a hundred pages to figure it out. You'll never know unless you try.

Secondly. Try not to be so down on your artwork. We all think we suck at some point. You've got some decent stuff in there. As long as you keep drawing, it will only get better. Plus your audience is usually not as critical of your work as you are. They just want to be entertained. Don't point out your shortcomings to them as it will only take away from the storytelling your trying to accomplish.

Sorry if this is a bit preachy. I just see a bit of myself in your attitude and work. I hope to see many more page of Blood Mantle in the months to come.

This is by far one of the finest web comics I've had the pleasure of reading. The art is top notch and the story is engaging as hell. The art reminds me of Poison Elves which I hold very near and dear to my heart. Kudos to you I say!
LOL! A steampunk watch. Brillant!
Very Nice! I really like the use of patterns. It give things a nice texture. The freckles are a nice touch. I look forward to seeing this progress.
