About Me

Im going to school and working, so my updates may be sporadic if I have problems finding the time to fight with the scanner to get the strips onto a computer, and then the net connection to get them here, but I do try.

Welp, I read many more web-comics than any normal person should, and I draw kinda regularly... So I've been asked a LOT if I've ever thought of trying my hand at my own.
...
Not til recently. I decided to give it a try, and not a great one at that. ^\\^ But I got a decent reaction so Im tryin to keep it goin. It keeps me drawing, so I'm happy.

You have my contact info, if you're curious you can gimme a shout.

My little sister actually played Volleyball the first day of the family's summer volleyball season.
...
She could barely get the ball over the net, the few times she actually did. And thats from serving IN the court.
...
I dont understand why she hasnt come again. *snrk*

Her 16 yr old boyfriend was there for this little snippet. Their expressions were beautiful.

ANYway. Every monday night during the summer, family and friends thereof go to my Cousin's place to play volleyball. He has a huge-ass lot. Volleyball and a horseshoe pit, a pool, a hot tob, and in his basement a regulation size billiards table.

Its awesome. I love him.
I want his place and stuff when he dies.
Hopefully a LOOONG way down the line.

The first two panels were actually a text message convo, and we were in a car for the last, actually, but ya get the idea.
His response to the last panel was "Well, I doubt she'll pick up on that."
...
I think it was the younger sis of someone he had the hots for. ^^;; So yah, fun times.

This is the first and hopefully not the only time you'll see Shawn, but not promises. I dun see him anymore.

BTW, you'll notice somethin bout me- in the last panel. Check the recent News Posts if ya didnt pick up on it. Xp

In case youre confused, the first 4 panels go up eft, up right, bot. left, bot. right in order. The trucks moving in and out and in and out.

Do NOT like the contrats and brightness on this one, but Ijust couldnt get it right with the scanner and MS Paint sucks like that.
Sorry, muches. <<;;

But yes, thank Paula for this little gem. ^^ She relayed the event to me over IM one night.

I'd been talkin bout the fact that I keep my hairbrush out in my car, with my hairbands around my stick-thing (I drive an automatic so Im never sure what to call it- you dont exactly shift gears with it... <<;;).

Dad hijacked the topic after a second and my mind just froze. HOW exactly did he mean 'stick thing'...? Gage is all skin and bones, so I joke he's made outta sticks (Or I call him my personal Jack Skellington since I love The Nightmare Before Christmas), and the familyl's picked up on the habit. But he's also a /guy/, and my dad's almost more pervy than *I* am so...
I was understandably distraught.

The expression in the last panel's supposed to be somewhere between confusion and disgust/trauma.
I dont like the way I look in the second panel. At all.

Yay English class! This happened only in April, actually... Nobody in class was feelin good and the teacher hadnt but JUST walked in the room and put her bags down when a guy at the table next to me started this off.

I stared at the girl who said that and before the teacher even responded I'd told her I couldnt believe she just said that.
She just said "Yah, I'm shameless." and grinned across the room at me.

Next week'll be the teacher's response. ;P

I TOLD you guys this was a project in motion, and that I would use that comment. ^^ Look back at strip #30 (To do WHAT now?) and read Kara's comment to see where exactly this came from.

Ahh, Sam. I love you.

This was actually taken out of his blog and one of my comments on it, but it may as well have been a phone convo.
By the "someone dies every time" line, I was referencing Vonnegut- I'd just finished doing Slaughterhouse 5 in english class, and everytime someone/thing dies, he says so it goes. And/or the other way around.
