I'm back! Next Friday (touch wood) will be the 100th page of the comic. To celebrate, I will be... drawing the comic, like always.
Hey, sorry about the wait! Last weekend I had a show, and then I spent the following week scrambling to recover and get back on top of life.

If you want to know ahead of time about late pages/scheduling changes I usually give a heads-up on Twitter. It’s probably the best place to keep up with JS news, if you don’t mind occasional comic babble and retweets of friend art.

Anyway, gosh, this page. I went into a bit of behind the scenes stuff about it on Patreon if that’s your thing. Hope it resonates!
Iggy has good taste in friends.

Just a friendly neighborhood spider reminder that I opened a new tier earlier this month on my Patreon! If you want a JS postcard print in the mail by August, you gotta sign up this month. More info here.
Psst... I finally added a new tier to my Patreon, you can get art postcards in the mail now and it’s gonna rule. Post with info is right here!
Psst.... I'm opening a new reward tier on Patreon tomorrow. Check back June 1st to see what it's all about!
Welcome to weekly updates!!!
@Shyads: Thank you! This comic is very important to me and I definitely have no intention of stopping until the story ends. Getting smarter about my art priorities will definitely help me stay in the game.

I'm so glad you've been enjoying the story so far!
Well golly gee we made it!
This is the last page from 2018, and the last of the daily updates. It's time to catch your breath for the next four days, and then we're back to Friday updates for the foreseeable future.

Some notes:
I finally started loving myself and USING A FONT. I don't know why I dragged my feet on this for so long, something something I thought my handwriting lent a personal touch, but honestly? It added at least an hour of labor to dialogue-heavy pages and could be pretty inconsistent as well as hard to read.

I will be making other stylistic changes to make page output more sustainable (i.e. not burn myself out and wreck my body trying to get updates on the table), like the outline-free gutters, which I waffled on for a while, but finally decided had a nice clean look.

I finally have A BUFFER, which is going to save me so much grief. I've posted a few pages in various stages of completion on Patreon! (I'm also adding an exciting new tier to Patreon next month, so keep an eye out for that.)

As this episode comes to a close I'll be thinking about print again, and I'll go back and update some of this episode's art for consistency with the changes I've been making. It's not set in stone, but I think we're looking at another 10-12 pages.

As always, thank you so much for reading and spreading the word!
@Karz88: guess we'll just have to wait and see!

Oh wow! As of this update, there's only a week left until we go back to Friday-only updates and pages that have never been seen on Tumblr. See you when we get there!
love us a hug
I could write video game sound effects all day
The couple walking away in the top panel are Peter and Cerril from my pal’s webcomic, Parhelion! Cerril has been humanized for the occasion.
It's a new episode cover! This looks a little different.
New episode begins TOMORROW. Get ready kids.
Second to last page of the episode, folks!

@Shyads: Ambrose's face is VERY fun to draw, it's true.
And you're in luck, because the imminent next chapter is all about Constance. Thanks for reading!
