Yay for goals!
I found that all my webcomic sites had somehow gone back to semi-defaults and were all wonky, so I've been working at re-doing them all. I wish I knew what happened, but I guess it doesn't matter so much as long as it doesn't happen again.
Two down, one to go.

Where are you finding sound effects in Japanese? I can find the phonetic spelling, but not
the hiragana or katanaka. :/

to war: How can you NOT KNOW what J-rock is? J stands for Japanese...so it's Japanese
rock/pop. Bands like Dir en Grey, L'arc~en~Ciel...HYDE, Gackt..those guys are all under
that category. They're quite well-known for their wild costumes and make-up.
And no, I don't think Kain's half naked...I think that's a coresty-thing, and his body's covered in tatoos.
