Mystery book. Hmmm hmm.

I apologize for the delay in updates recently. I have been very busy working on my senior art exhibition and my thesis. I also decided to re-work a little bit of the pacing in this chapter, so that contributed to things as well. But everything should be back on track now. Expect a few more pages soon!

@Someone: Hi! Thank you so much for your kind words. :) Unfortunately, because I am a university student (in my last semester of undergrad, preparing a thesis and art exhibit, no less), I do not always get to update as consistently as I would like. I try and aim for a few pages each week, though sometimes other obligations come before that. I am working on getting a mailing list started so there will be emails each time a significant amount of pages are posted. I will have that up asap! Thank you for your comments. :)

I should have just posted this the other day along with the chapter cover. But I didn't. Illustrated pages coming asap. Promise, lol.

Hurray, Day Three! I'm still illustrating this chapter so it may be a bit before we see a lot of pages come up on this one. Hopefully no more than a week though.

I'd like to say thank you to those of you who have been kind of enough to comment the last few updates. I really appreciate it; many of your comments showed me that I am heading in the right direction and you are seeing this the way I pictured it in my head. It's very exciting! :)

@HABE: Thanks! I'm glad it feels that way; I wanted the reading to be very fluid, almost like watching a film. Your comment is great encouragement that I am doing something right!

Hey gang, double page post. There's a little more info about why this was delayed on the last page's author comments.

I apologize for the delay on this day. For those of you who haven't read the news page, I recently ran out/am very close to running out of illustration board; and so I've been attempting to figure out how to handle that situation. I managed to find some that looks pretty close online; but we'll see if it is the right gray tone when it comes in! With any luck this chapter can get done with the pieces of board I have left!

On an unrelated note:

Would anyone out there be interested in buying the original artwork? I am thinking of setting up an etsy account. Please comment! Thanks.

Next chapter! We'll be getting into some dialogue here; along with a little bit of explanation. :)
@HABE: Thanks! I'm planning on doing a series of posters, one for each chapter. Maybe do some advertising around town. :)

The beginning.
OH MY GOSH, THE TIME HAS COME. Hopefully in about two weeks, Memoria will be on a new host. Finally! I'll post the new URL as soon as I've got it.
I suck at life right now. Actually, I don't really suck, I'm just juggling alot of tasks right now. The past few weeks have been comprised of interviewing for an internship, getting said internship (hurray!), signing up for summer courses, fighting with financial aid so I can take said summer courses, figuring out where I am going to live for the next two months, figuring out where I am going to live for the next school year, oh yeah and FINALS.

Fuuuuuuuu!

But, to God's credit, everything has been falling into place pretty well. I think I will have a good summer. It's just a lot of change in a very, VERY short period of time.

Good news though! Last summer I didn't have access to a good scanner or copy of Photoshop, so the pages had to be made at a smaller size/quality. Because I'm going to be near my school for my internship this summer, I'll have access to the design lab, which means better pages! Hurray!
I can't even tell this was "rushed", haha. Your inking is always lovely!

Out of curiosity, what kind of pens do you use for the white areas? I've never been able to find a good pen that produced a strong enough white ink. Thanks!
