About Me
I write the webcomic "From Childhood's Hour" (which my friend MaryTee co-created, draws, and donates ideas for) and so far I'm enjoying it, except maybe the part where I have to write a long stupid legend...yeah, not so fun.
I do enjoy this though and maybe I will continue to do this. :) Probably not for a career (unlike the artist for FCH), but hey. You never know.
In addition to writing "From Childhood's Hour", I edit "The Defender", which is written and drawn by Kelsey S./druidulises.
In the future I want to do a lot of things that conflict with each other.
I read a lot and listen to a lot of music; music and books are sort of my life.
Literary Likes: John Masefield, Edgar Allan Poe, Ray Bradbury, William Shakespeare, Neil Gaiman, Holly Black, Francesca Lia Block, Mark Helprin, Sarah Dessen, Deb Caletti
Comics & Graphic Novels: Runaways, Madame Mirage, Fables, The Loners, Blankets
Webcomics: see 'Links' on FCH's site and my favorites
Books & Plays: Macbeth, Anansi Boys, Violet & Claire, Tithe, The Truth About Forever, Wild Roses, The Green Man, The Faery Reel, The Coyote Road, The Awakening

A lot of people living on Roosevelt Island, where Brena lives and Ava used to live, work
for the United Nations, since it's pretty close to the island as things go. Ava's father
works for Italy in its U.N. office, hence Ava's comment about him being busy there.

So...we're not finishing From Childhood's Hour. Someday we will hopefully reattempt the
story, but we've realized it would take too long to be doable in a single summer.
Instead, we're starting a new comic, with the same characters (just older). Please follow us, Brena, Ava, and Jesse over to Awaken My Heart To Joy! :)

Once I actually figured out what Christo was mumbling, this was hilarious.

I laughed at 'that guy is really going to buy a computer'. Oh, Keith.

Ohhh this is so gorgeous! I especially love the moon; that grin is GREAT. And the writing
is good too; it fits the picture very well, all elegant and stuff. I really love that
last sentence--good choice making 'ever mocking' larger than the rest of the text! It
looks really good.
What font did you use? It's really pretty.
