Comment on 006 - Berg SMASH!! of Powertrip

Berg's very sensitive about his father, Myron Jackson.
Myron, who also had cryokinetic powers, was one of the few knuckleheads who decided to become a supervillain in this world.
He sucked at it.
Got caught on his second caper, by COPS, no-less.
Now, where once Bellingham, Washington stood, there is a bombed-out island, and on it, a metahuman prison.
Daddy's been there since 'Berg was 12.
Eddie always uses that one to get his goat.

Eddie's been getting the best of Berg since 7th grade.
You can't blame Eddie's cockiness.
Even if Berg wasn't as thick as a block of ice, Eddie's still faster and more agile than Berg.
Plus, if a fight does break out, Eddie has him outnumbered.
... and yes, panel 2 is a breaking of the 4th wall.

Whoa. I'm a year late, it seems.
Kick-ass comic, though.
And yes, I get it.
A disturbing trend in video games, but entertaining, nonetheless.

There's nothing that beats the heat on a HOT 4th of July like a mountain of ICE!
Meet 'Berg.
He and Eddie have history.
And, oh look, kids!
lesbian pirates at a bus stop!
Figure THAT one out!
and go read BOOBS AHOY over at DrunkDuck while you're at it.

Comment on 001 - Meet Eddie... and Eddie of Powertrip
Sideways Jack, 01 Jul 2008 07:13 pm
Eddie Essex is an average high school student in a world where superpowers don't
necessarily mean spandex for everybody.

Comment on 002 - Meet Eddie's Mom of Powertrip

Eddie's parents have no idea that he has superpowers.
Being a teenager, and a smart one at that, Eddie mines his abilities to their fullest extent.
F'rinstance, even though he's not a troublemaker, or a "bad kid" per se, Eddie still skips classes, stays out late, and goes to parties, concerts, etc, behind his parents' backs... all the while, still getting his homework and chores done, never missing curfew, and is a solid A - and- B student.
But, yeah... he's also a little off his rocker.

.. and he's ALWAYS angry!
Nobody's seen Berg un-frozen since around 6th grade.
And, Eddie tends to generate his clones in a close radius, but, when necessary, he can project or absorb himself from a radius of about 15 or 18 feet maximum.
also, just so ya know, the "zzzzip" of reabsorption and the "zhoop" of generation is only audible to the reader.
