About Me

Hellzgranny was birthed in a faraway nebula and taught herself the art of matterless pyrokinesis before the Skymother saw fit to send her to Earth. She is over 9,000 years old and was utterly blinded by her travels in the void, but has a third eye strong enough to compensate for the loss of biological vision. She can be contacted by morse code tapped out on a digital sattelite dish in the wee hours of the morning and will impart the secrets of the universe in exchange for a handful of cotton swabs.

I should really post more often.

I promise though, I won't abandon the comic without warning. As long as this site is here, the comic is still going.

Fitful though it may be.

The other god here is Wepwawet, the white wolf god. He is a real god from Egyptian mythology, but because his name is so complicated he was not popularized by modern culture like Anubis was. In Ancient times he was a fairly important god, so I felt he should be represented. Wepwawet was basically a guide for lost souls and he often was portrayed in funeral scenes in addition to or in place of Anubis.

It's from that battle. For simplicity's sake, I'm condensing all the forms of Horus into one god. You may notice his left eye is a golden prosthetic of sorts. He can still see with it as it is magical. I'm trying to be as true to the myths as I can, but not everyone has read up on them so I have to simplify some things. It makes for better reading if Horus only exists in one manifestation. That's also why I use the Greek names- more people will recognize them.

I'm most concerned with getting the main ideas down properly because I can't stand reading stories where the whole Kemetic culture is passed off as nothing but a death cult. There's so much more to it than mummies and gold jewelry! :)

So far this is my favorite comic on the site! I'm trying to get caught up as fast as I can. The plot is really well paced, it just draws me in.
