Kimberley, or KimBo as she is often called, has just graduated from the University of Edinburgh with a degree in Psychology. However, her real passion lies in art, which is why she is currently studying Illustration at Telford College.
Outside of art, Kimberley is a ghost tour guide for Mercat Tours in Edinburgh; a job she is enjoying immensely. She is also a faithful season-ticket holder of Edinburgh Rugby Club (and an avid fan of London Wasps). As well as drawing, she enjoys listening to music, watching a rediculous amount of films and sleeping.

Oh dear! Here I was promising you two pages a week and last week, I gave you none. I'm very sorry about that. The reason was I had a very big commission which had to be done in a week so I was working hard on that. But it's all done now and I can go back to concentrating on LockDown. There will be another page up this weekend, promise!
I have to admit, I find it quite funny that the two people who are debating about fashion are two male readers lol. Yes, what sasracer says is true - Lock was a rising rugby star before he joined the SP, and he uses the same skills when he works during missions, hence why his equipment and outfit matches that. As for 5.2, she hasn't changed much from her Rookie outfit (which you can see on page 8 (Issue 3) and page 16 (Issue 1)). Blonde modified her jacket on the way to Edinburgh (due to her 'comfort fat') and the skirt is short to free her legs for fighting (most superheros wear tights for the same reason). Also it helps her agility and speed.
However, there is also the argument that its more aestheically pleasing to have the outfits this way. I must admit I prefer drawing intersting outfits (hence why all the characters' fashions are individual and colourful) rather than 'pants and shirts' (unless of course TKGB_Cocker, you mean pants as in the British version ie. underpants, then I would be interested in drawing them lol). You also have to remember that they're all still pretty young (late teens, early twenties) and even at that age, style is pretty important.
Anyhoo, I hope that helped you out!
Lastly, I just have a little self-plugging to do. Outside of LockDown, I'm a free-lance illustrator, just starting out. I've just began updating a blog with some of my artwork, so if you want to check it out, visit . You can leave responces and comments if you wish, you don't have to be a blogspot member. Thank you very much!

- Some_Unknown_Dude - Ahhh, now that would be telling wouldn't it? All will be revealed in due course lol

- eternalbeliever12 - At least for now, they can't track them. However, the enemy knows about them since they've been fighting Kita. It's only going to get more dangerous from her on out!
Here is the second page for this week... I MADE IT!!!! (but only just lol)
Hello all! From this week onward there are now going to be two updates a week since I'm on holiday and have a bit more time. However, apologies in advance if I don't make the two updates sometimes as I do have a couple of illustration jobs comin through which I may need to concentrate on (it does pay the bills after all). Anyhoo, enjoy this page and expect the other one this weekend!
Hello all! Finally the crisis is revealed! Tis a nasty one indeed! And a big task for only two people to tackle, but then this is 5.2 and Lock we're talking about!!!

- Some_Unknown_Dude - Ooh thank you. Evolving eh? Probably, since I've been doing an art course this year. The other major difference with the latest pages is that I've gone back to using dip pens to ink them which makes the lines more fluid and interesting. Hope you like where the plot is going. Not only do you get your wish that they're gonna look for 0.5 but EVERY SINGLE NUMBER!
Yeah I don't care about football either, but I'm kinda stuck with it since my bf watches it all the time.

- TKGB_Cocker - It is indeed lol. That's my favourite thing about having a comic in colour - you can make the cast so much more brighter lol.

- Mew Mew Mari-Shinju - Aye that's the place! Fantastic stuff! I think I have an idea in mind for an arc and its coming up real soon so watch this space!
Oh don't worry about me gettin mad over football - I seriously don't follow it! My bf is a Hibs fan and my entire family are Aberdeen fans but me? I support Edinburgh Rugby and that's it! Yay for rugby!!! Sadly there's not such a big following up in Aberdeenshire so its cool to meet a fellow Aberdonian who supports the oval ball game! Btw that's really cool that you're friends with one of the USA players. I admit - I love Americans. I even studied American History for a year at uni.

- eternalbeliever12 - Haha u mean Shrink? (Probably needs one) There's a reason he's always nervous but I won't reveal that till a little later. I don't mind playing a spot of footy but I'm a terrible hacker lol
Ooh, I can't wait for the next page - I'll try and get it up before the weekend as I'm off for a wee holiday to the Borders!
Well the sun hasn't been back yet and to make matters worse I can't seem to escape the bloomin World Cup. I just cannot stand football (or soccer to those of you in North America lol) but my boyfriend who I live with has been hooked, watching every single game. To be fair though, it gives him something to do when I'm out at work and he's so cute when he gets excited but what really gets my goat is all the stupid Scots being too busy to cheer on USA last Saturday that they all ignored the fact their own country had an outstanding win against Argentina in rugby!!! Anyhoo, I'm rambling now lol. What are all of you making of the World Cup - enjoying it or do you think the same as me?

- Some_Unknown_Dude - Cheers! Yeah those are my favourite ones too. I'm sorry that your favourite Colonel S hasn't been in much so far but the next 'issue' will feature him a lot more so you can have a lot of eye candy lol

- Mew Mew Mari-Shinju - Ahhh beautiful Stonehaven. I was there quite recently actually when I was back home (I'm from Deeside). Stonehaven has the most amazing ice cream shop in the world!!! Have you ever been there? My bf really liked it there too - infact he was quite tempted to move there since he's a big fan of the sea. I should base an arc of LockDown in Stonehaven!
Oh yes, I was going to put in a footnote about that - thanks for reminding me, I'll do that in a sec. There are four classes, but only three of them are used in day to day missions. These are'
- Class Yellow - Minor missions (mainly for new agents)
- Class Orange - Important Missions (the most common)
- Class Red - Vital Missions (normally when there's lives at risk)
- Class White - Very rare and always priority as it means somethings happened to the SP or its members.

- eternalbeliever12 - I know, isn't it exciting lol. Yeah same here! When its not raining, it's just dull and overcast. Please can we get some more sun, I want to wear my legs out a bit longer!!!
An amazing thing happened this week! There was sun in Scotland! And several days of it. I slapped on the sun cream and went out to enjoy it. Sadly thought its back to the usual grey skies and rain, but hopefully the sun will be back again soon.

- Some_Unknown_Dude - No worries my lovely, the kidnapping is still real, but that's not all. I won't spoil anything though, all will be revealed in two pages time...
Yeah, Edinburgh is great, I love this city so much! Shame you were only there for one day, your really should come back and explore some more. Whoop whoop for holly-olly-days!!!!

- TKGB_Cocker - Cheers! I'm glad you think so. Glad you're enjoying the comic, hope you continue to!

- sasracer - lol I'm glad you're not sure. At least it shows my comic's not entirely predictable. I love her big eyelashes too!!!
*gasp* Ooooh, if I was Demi a wee slap would be in order! Not because of jealously but the way he's carrying on - stupid casanova!
I'm a traditional inker myself, as I can't work my tablet that well lol. Infact I'm thinking of going back to using dip pens as the line is a lot more interesting, but a ballpoint pen is just so much quicker....
I'm very sorry about the radio silence. Unfortunately I've been very ill with a horrible virus for about a week and a half, then after that I had my final graded unit to do for college but finally the end is in sight and soon I'll be ON HOLIDAY WHOOOH!!!!

- Some_Unknown_Dude - Yeah, I love Edinburgh too. Did you only visit the 'burgh or did you travel around Scotland? No I don't have a strong accent but its still definately Scottish. Its funny that I don't though as my whole family speak broad doric, kinda like 5.2 lol. Oh and a wee niggle, it's British accents. To call a Scot English is like calling a Canadian American lol

- sasracer - Don't worry, I've often been sucked in by facebook lol.

- eternalbeliever12 - Lol, its because she interupted the higher order which is a crime punishable by a good talking to! They are very good posers - maybe they've been watchin too much Matrix, or Sailor Moon!
I've obviously been working too hard at the ghost tours recently - I'm actually including Scold's Bridles in my comic!!! We mention them on our Gallows to Graveyard tour for it was a form of punishment against gossipy women (otherwise known as a Scold). They would be forced to wear this headgear with a plate holding down their tongue, sometimes with little spikes all over it, for a few hours at the Mercat Cross. Why exactly 5.2 carries one around with her, I'm unsure of...
Oh and speaking of Mercat Tours, we've just made a kind of advert thing to promote our tours.. and I'm in it. The link to the video is . I'm the short, dark-haired lass. The guy next to me is Martin, who, like me, pretty much lives at Mercat. we have such a laugh as he's so over dramatic - even in this video. People say I sound really scottish in this... yay! Misterrr Beeuuts!!!
It's election day today in Britain - very exciting. However, both my boyfriend and I forgot to register so we can't vote. It comes with the territory of moving every year, once you've registered, you move then need to do it again. Oh well, to be fair, I would say I'm an SNP supporter (except I don't want Scottish independance) so my vote would probably only matter in a hung parliament. We just have to make sure we register to vote for the Scottish elections next year.

- Some_Unknown_Dude - Thank you! Yeah, this issue will finally start to get into the main story, plus we're going to learn a bit more about the character's history, so I'm very excited about drawing this one. Sadly, its also the climax of my first year in college so hence why pages are a little late just now. I'm very sorry, but only a few weeks to go then its the holidays where I should hopefully be able to put up two pages a week!!!

- TKGB_Cocker - HAHA! I know, it's hard to believe eh? Personally I can't stand girly/skinny boys - I like huge, chunky men. 6ft8 and 19 stone = rarr! No surprise to hear 300 is one of my favourite films lol. Hope you enjoy reading the rest of the comic!
Wooh! I kept to the deadline... ok so I'm technically updating on Saturday but only by an hour lol. Still it's here!

- forgotten cake - Hiya! Thank you for your lovely comment. Hope you enjoy the rest of the issue.

- Some_Unknown_Dude - Thank you! *gives the thumb-up back with a big cheesy grin*

(Am I hyper tonight or just a little sleepy.....)
Wooh! Finally breaking my 2 week radio silence. Sorry guys!
Here we go then, on with Issue 3. I had a lot of fun mucking aboot wi Photoshop for the cover here (Hue Saturation wha-hey!). I'm pretty chuffed with it.
I've decided I've grown too lazy with LockDown so from now on I'm going to fix a day for the update which will be every Friday. Here's hoping it will force to pull my finger oot. Expect the next update for this Friday so we can crack on with the next chapter.
Ah I see, well that must be my downfall lol. I can't resist a drinkie at the pub. You know something, I've never held/stroked a chinchilla before. Awww, I really should try it some time, they are adorable!
Awwwwww, the baby chinci's are sooooo cute *steals and runs off laughing manically*
Can't believe we're on chapter 9 already - as an artist you're flyin! Can't wait to see what happens next!!!
I apologise profusely for the lateness of this page. I have been and still continue to be very under the weather just now. I'm trying to battle off about three/four thing at the moment and this is why I haven't been at my doodling best. I am very sorry!
But, on saying that, yay Issue 2 is over (at last!) and now we're starting to get into the main story of LockDown. The mystery of the flat has been solved but its lead to even more questions. Who found out she was an agent? Who kidnapped her? What do they want? Maybe some clues can be found out next issue?????
Summer is coming up soon and I will be getting my sweet b-hind in gear to update twice a week during the holidays! (instead of once every two weeks...)
P.S - I realise the blood on 5.2's face has gone, but I didn't think it fitted in with this scene.

- eternalbeliever12 - Maybe that bump helped her out lol. Now it's all starting to make sense. Please ignore the attrocious thumbs on this page lol - I always struggle with thumbs. Damn THUMBS!!!

- Some_Unknown_Dude - Sorry to have kept you waiting for so long to find the answer behind the clip lol. And thank you for the compliment on my lineart. I need some new inking pens though as my trusty one is running out!
Hee hee, well it helps that I'm from a rediculously Scottish family. I also work in the tourism industry up here, so I pick up a ton of cool and interesting stuff from that. I had a feeling Wild Mountain was a newer song. You research all this stuff so well - your passion for old music really shows through in the comic! I've been playing accordion since I was 8 although I dont go to any lessons just now. I would like to take up lessons again soon tho. You should try and get some too - once you learn the basics its an amazin instrument to play!!!
Another beautiful page! I love all the warm colours!
Lol, he's obviously been to north east of scotland as that's mainly where Doric is spoken. It's more of a dialect than a language, unlike Gaelic, which is a west coast kinda thing.
There's another scottish song similar to this one called Wild Mountain Thyme which is pretty well known - you ever heard that one - it's one of my favourite scots song. My absolute favourite is Dark Island though. There are two versions of it too - I play one version on my accordion and I sing the other version lol.
Awwww, it's aye guid tae read a dash o' the doric!!! lol Sadly, I'm not a natural speaker of doric, even tho my family are - I just didnt pick it up for some reason. But I can understand it fine. It leads to some funny moments tho - my bf who's from the Borders came to mine once and my mum explained how my brother had come home wi some laundry and had shoved his too'els into his duvet cover. Steve looked confused and asked why he had tools. Poor thing didnt realise Mum meant towels HAHAHA!
Yeah, it's in the North East, so just before where the highlands start. I live in the area right beside the highlands - I'm about 10 miles away.
OOH you've been? Where did you go?
Wow, the last few pages have been my favourite so far. They're so touching and the colours set the mood perfectly.
Awww, you're home town has such a cute name. That is a really sad reason why it's famous, but there's something very lovely and respectable about that too. I come from a tiny village called Lumphanan in Aberdeenshire. Nobody really knows it, but it's claim to fame is that the real King MacBeth was killed there at the Battle of Lumphanan.
HAHAHA! As a Scottish lass, I found the quote hilarious! It is so true lol! Especially the bit about the sporting event!
Hiya my lovlies! One more page to go then its goodbye to issue 2 WHOOH!
Brownie points go to Some_Unknown_Dude for spotting the clue. And a chocolate brownie to Living Rock for making me giggle with his predictions for the next issue - don't eat it all at once!

- Some_Unknown_Dude - She's a tough wee cookie, and a lot faster than Lock.

- Living Rock - For some reason, I can't see Lock being good at customer relations and if anybody looked at 5.2 wrong she might pulverise them. Could be a great story lmao!

- eternalbeliever12 - Haha! Yeah, I'm for too unhealthily obsessed with it lol. I'm going to the Scotland/England match the morn - so excited!!! Awww, the wales game... best not to mention it or I get upset!

- sasracer - Good to have you back lol. Thank you very much! Yeah, Kita is just a walking cliche lol
