Aside from the stupidity and lack of creativity that Stephany Meyers had put into writing the peice of shit that is now in almost every single girls, young womans, and older womens bedrooms closets (Yes, I went there), to this date I HATE Twilight and the fans. I'm 24 years old, single (FEMALE) who enjoys fantasy as well as the next person. Yeah, I love a good vampire romance, but Twilight is writen by a retarded person for a huge group of stupid and ignorant people. Looking at today's population, intelegence is diminishing and thus the novel is a huge success. If she wrote that story 100 years ago, it would had flopped with anything else she's written.

A good vampire romance book to read is Vampire Kisses. The series is older then Twilight, and stays VERY true to how vampires are normally writen and viewed.

As for the person who lost their girlfriend because they wern't Edward...just be glad she didn't throw a beaker of acid AND stabbed you in the face with a protractor tip.
