Call me Boo. My username was a decision made at the age of thirteen. Do not judge meeeee.

I would be the: Freelancer, ginger, obsession-enthusiast, ambition personified, pansexual, story-truth, the least cunning slytherin, more names than mordred, and too much mullet rock.

I sort of became a webcomic artist by accident, while I was thinking of myself more as a writer. Whoops. And then I stumbled into freelance illustration with my normal lack of forethought or natural grace.

I like stars, chocolate coins, and feather boas. I speak English, francais, und ein wenig Deutsch.

notes from the pandacave:
And it is complete.
It's so exciting to have Hemlock back up and running! I went back and reread a large chunk of the story in celebration, and it really reminded me (as if I needed reminding) how much I love your style. Your inking is just incredible, and the story-telling spot on.
notes from the pandacave:
Adventures in the check-out line, or, page seven.

I am very tired and do not have much more to contribute.
notes from the pandacave:
It took me forever to decide how I wanted Cas to look, vaguely angelic-wise. Bigger, probably, but with these annoyingly same-size, horizontal panels, it was harder to pull off.

I like simple pages. Not because they're easier (that's only in theory) but simply the look of them. Really bleakly blank backgrounds aren't something I can draw in my normal colored-pages style.
notes from the pandacave:
Ahhh, I'm sorry, my photoshop has decided it's a trial version and has placed itself on lockdown. So you get my handwriting and paintoolSAI (which I use for the actual drawing part anyway).

Teddy makes his exit. I don't think I've drawn a panel that is mostly an ass before. It was bound to happen, I'm sure we all know.
notes from the pandacave:
Those stars are glowing because they are glow-stars Sam don't you understand. Well actually they had help but hey.

And the flashback ends. It would have been nice if either the present or past DIDN'T involve drawing tons of shelves of gas station food. But alas, I do this to myself.
notes from the pandacave:
Oh man, I hope you all can tell that those stars all lit up in the presence of surprised angel mojo.

Cause that's what happening. I am cheating by telling you here. AND LOOK THERE'S SAM IN A CORNER.
notes from the pandacave:
Flashback already and we're only on the third page. Well, it's only a fourteen-page comic, but still.

Also the page where I discovered Dean/Mr. Ackles is impossible to draw.
notes from the pandacave:
This comic is really just an instruction manual for angels who need to shop for their Winchesters at gas stations.

Step One: Ignore list.

(I'm lying - there is more to this I swear).
notes from the pandacave:
I've finally gotten my scanner working, so I can post some of my shorter traditional stuff that I like to do. This comic shouldn't interfere with STARS or Extravaganza.

This is the first comic I've done where I'm drawing live action people in my style...it's been quite difficult, and I'm not sure I always succeed in getting them all quite right. But really, this is a for-fun comic.
notes from the pandacave:
Hammie is pissed because his knives were dulled cutting all the rope, and got dirty to boot. He will now obsessively clean them and forget that he didn't want to be seen with them because they are his babies.

This is all my headcanon, btw. Do not write on your history test that Hamilton loved his knives like children. His ship catching fire was, however, a real part of his trip to the New York colony. And wanting to bury his past was a real goal of Hamilton's throughout his entire life.

And c'est le fin!

This was actually originally designed as the cover page, but it broke up the flow of lighter and darker pages, and I liked it better at the end.

I ended up using it as the cover art for our school magazine, because it has a lovely blank-ish spot for a title, haha.

And then there was fluff.

My two favorite things about drawing this comic were the paint splatters (I'm still finding remnants on the furniture) and drawing Scorpius with trimmed hair. He wears it longer, more girlish in Extravaganza, but in this comic he's a little more stable, more confident with how he wants to look/who he wants to be. It was nice to draw.

The ring makes its appearance~ I just can't seem to keep from drawing these boys together, haha. And I tend to put them in the same Houses each time (though I'm flexible, really!).

notes from the pandacave:
There was a bit of confusion when I posted this page on LJ - that's Lily, Harry and Ginny's daughter, not Ginny. I'm sorry if I didn't make it clear enough!

I've already drawn her in Extravaganza, like Al and Scorpius. Her outfits are ALWAYS fun to design.

A short comic, in my traditional style. I think this was the first time I combined comicking and this style.

FUCKYEAH UPDATES. BACK ON TRACK.

With another page of Teddy Lupin. I've got a newer version of photoshop, AND ALL MY COMIC FONTS ARE GONE. QUELLE HORREUR.

Thanks, as always, to everyone who's stuck with this comic through really rocky updates.

@Vindictive Bassoon: Sorry, haha, Teddy's still breaking up the drunkmance.
notes from the pandacave:
WHAT IS THIS IS IT AN END OF THE HIATUS.

Hell yeah it is. I'm struggling on back. Like a baby bird, a very weak comic artist.

And you can really tell that I haven't been drawing comics for a while...what is anatomy. What is everything.

Of course I was going to let Hamilton be proficient with knives. He was like a little gangster in St. Croix, yo. DON'T LISTEN TO ME I'M MAKING ALL THIS UP. Except for St. Croix, obviously. The details at least.
notes from the pandacave:
My drawing speed's gone down a little - have to get it back up again. This is a pretty simple page, but it took me as long as a more detailed one.

Poor Scorpius.

@Vindictive Bassoon: haha, we'll have to see. Teddy's butting in on the bromance right now.
notes from the pandacave:
Listened to Disney's Hellfire SO many times while colouring this. One of the best Disney songs, true fax.

Hamilton's bucket did not last long.

Ugh I love drawing comics so much that it's silly. Also, least dialogue page ever! Hahahahaha!
