Hi there ^_^

I'm a freelance comicker with past and present projects including: Vampire Academy (Penguin books), Avalon Chronicles (Oni press), Alex Rider (Walker books), Young Avengers #14 (Marvel) and my own series, Dragon Heir (sweatdrop) - as seen here on Smackjeeves.

Most of my work is for publishers these days. However, I still love making comics for myself when I can! BREAKS is an independent title that I'm creating in my spare time along with co-creator, Malin Ryden. It means a lot to us and we hope you like it ^_^

The reaction (and your kind comments re my injury) last week were just amazing. you guysssssss. And huge thanks to Malin for jumping in and helping with comments where I was unable to type easily. I'm still in pain, but it's more localised now, at least.
More importabtly - Yay, Harvey! yay, Cortland! BOYS! You did a conversation and it is a hard one, but you're doing so well.

And you guys, your support is just amazing. Thank you xx

@portisHeart: Well it's sparked some desire to communicate with his brother, so that's a big thing :)

Well, that was an experience, right?
Not sure either Ian or Cort walked away from that visit feeling super cheerful, and at some point I'd love to go back and see what they talked about in the car journey home...but, for now, the story takes us forward - and to plans for the evening, oho! Ian intends to drink and dance to get over the day's weirdness. That'll do!
Just as soon as Cortland gets something off his chest to his brother. What could the visit to a jail have sparked in him, eh? ;)

uh-ohhhhhh - good old Father connections, eh? Except that Cort's is nowhere to be seen and Ian's is in jail - so what's the connection there? And is Cortland glad that Ian apparently didn't hear that last comment? Yes, yet more to discover in the slow, teasing path that is BREAKS XD But I promise you, by the end of this current issue, dynamics in the kids will have changed. And by the end of the next issue - a whole lot of history will become clear. There is a light at the end of the suspense tunnel ^_^

@Auldr: Your comments are always a pleasure to read. Insightful as ever :) Cail isn't quite as observant as all that, but he definitely clocked Cortland pretty early on in terms of the small world...
