Ace Lightning fancomic, set pre-Earth.

"In the aftermath of a ferocious battle, Commander Sparx and one of her officers are taken in by the Carnival and nursed back to health. Sparx knows that in war, all gestures are loaded, and nothing is free. Now she's just gotta wrench the price out of that accursed skeleton's mouth."

Welcome to the comic! I've set pages to go live every Sunday midnight (GMT). Enjoy! :D
A complete comic I made in late 2012/early 2013.

It's an 8-page short story about Rainbow Dash and Applejack set during their early friendship. All complete, the pages will automatically go up over the next few days. :D I hope you enjoy!
@Maxxu: :D Haha thanks! I really hope you enjoy it!
This comic will be very headcanony, maybe a bit AUish, so I hope you still enjoy it! Vanellope might not sound as confident as she is in the film yet, but that's a deliberate thing. All will be explained as pages go on. :D Thank you to everyone who has faved the comic so far!

I really love drawing Vanellope's handmaidens. Originally I was going to make the handmaidens all sorts of different sweets, but in the end it seemed extremely fitting to have these particular pink ones. To go with the pink castle (Sthalmon, sthalmon, it'sth obviousthly sthalmon!), pink dresses, pink princess-ness.

This is probably going to end up a little bit slow paced since it's a whole week between pages, sorry about that. I can't risk upping the schedule with how bad my current situation is though, too many uncertainties.

If you like my work, if it excites you to see it in your inbox or it brings you joy in any way, please please please consider either commissioning me or buying comics and prints I've made (UK shipping only on non-digital items, sorry!). If you're mostly interested in my fanart, I've started adding a few things to my RedBubble, and I hope to add more soon - they ship worldwide I think! Thank you.
Page posting will begin from next Saturday. :) One page a week, just in case something happens and I can't keep up with my buffer.

A Sugar Rush fancomic by En. Set in the game universe (as in; not in the arcade), this is an interpretation of how the introduction cutscene on the home console release would go.

I know nobody wants to hear this, but I really cannot emphasise what a bad situation I'm in. The recession has really taken its toll and I struggle to pay rent every week, and it's only gotten worse and worse. If things go any more downhill, I may have to consider dropping most art, as the time and effort taken to finish most work isn't paying off right now. If you like my work, if it excites you to see it in your inbox or it brings you joy in any way, please please please consider either commissioning me or buying comics and prints I've made (UK shipping only on non-digital items, sorry!). Today's words courtesy of Paperjam are bottle and trip! We revisit the same drowned world from the last comic in this too.
24 minute comic to the theme of 'ultrasonic stilts', kind of partially based on a new comic I'm currently planning.
Well I have some important news for you guys, which is that the online version of this comic will not be continuing.

I said a while back that I'd keep you informed over my decision on this comic, so here is a blog post I wrote about it: http://thatnattherat.tumblr.com/post/18202700164/those-of-no-class-news

The TL;DR version is that the more I thought about it, the more breaking it up into these small chapters was completely breaking the flow of the story. It's meant to be read as a complete work, not in little bits - kind of like every long story really, they get to shine the most when they are viewed as the long story they are instead of a series of short stories pinned together.

So I'm not doing that anymore. I'm not doing chapters and I'm not doing it as a webcomic. I'm completing it as a book if I can, though for obvious reasons I don't want to promise that.

I'm really sorry to everyone on here, thank you so much for your comments over all this time, they were wonderful! I'll leave this version of the comic up as a little archive, maybe something nice to look at every now and again. Thanks for sticking with me, and if I manage the book, you'll be the first to know!
@Syllva: Haha oh gosh, you don't think I *improvise* this comic do you? My goodness, I don't even know how that would be possible lol...

The entire story has been written, beginning, middle and end, so it isn't anything to do with the story itself that is a problem.
@NightingaleLost: :D Thank you! Haha prepare yourself for Khern's WALLS OF TEXTY DOOM.

@Yangyexin: I'm glad, I really don't get to show off his ponytail enough. XD

@Haliae: Haha the little break was accidentally a large break! I'm glad you like Khern, I think he tends to lose out to Fay in terms of whether people like him or not. XD Your comments always make my day, thank you! <3
I'm not very fond of this page. I saw several comic professionals saying having bleeds on every page was a really awful idea and you were an unskilled comicker if you did that.

So I decided maybe I shouldn't do bleeds on every page if I wanted to be a good comicker.

Unfortunately I actually think it looks pretty disgusting with everything boxed in like this though, it really isn't what I wanted this comic to do at all.

Sorry about the small type, the print size is A4 so any bigger makes it look ugly in print.
Dialogue on this page:
Khern: As I thought.
The Tower halted two nights ago.
Fay: What do you mean it 'halted'?
Khern: I am unsure. We will not dwell on it.
Fay: But you just said-!
You know what? I'm not going to argue. I don't really understand any of this.

BTW: Sorry if what I said on the previous page bothered anyone. I didn't mean it to, I just wanted to be honest and make sure I let you guys know since you follow the comic. I'll let you know how it goes.
So yep, instead of two weeks, that was accidentally two months. I could try to explain all the things that happened, but it would be worse than Khern's exposition here.
I'm sorry about Khern's exposition. It didn't look that bad in the script. And Fay's little follow-up after a long awkward silence was funnier in my head than it is here.

Anyway the short of it is that I'm not entirely sure how I feel about this comic anymore, and if I want to continue it - for a whole slew of reasons. I'll upload the pages I've done on a regular-ish schedule while I think about it.

Sorry about the small type, the print size is A4 so any bigger makes it look ugly in print.
Dialogue on this page:
Khern: They are the backbone of this continent, it is vital that they continue to work.
They are maintained by permanent crews of scientists and machinists under normal circumstance.
This one appears to be abandoned however... and I am consulting the records held by the machine to ascertain what happened.
Fay: ...Right.
Well, it's the end of an era! ;D

Very special thanks to Gusto, without whom this ending would not have been possible! You unlocked the good ending! :D

This has been an amazing experience for me as a comicker, and thank you so much to every single person who talked to Katy, you personally have made this comic possible! I really hope you all enjoyed Katy's journey.

I gather some are still confused, so I'll let the cat out of the bag: You, the audience, played Katy's self-doubt and second-guessing. She had conflicting interests and it was your job to spur her into decision. If she didn't reach a decision by the time limit, the bad ending would occur. So congratulations on the positive outcome!

This isn't the end of the experience though! Although your journey as Katy's doubt has ended, Katy's life is starting again. The 12 page (full-colour) epilogue of life after the comic is found within the What is it Katy? collected book coming out in a couple of months. Pre-order it here: http://www.indiegogo.com/What-is-it-Katy?a=342248 (it also has lots of bonus contents, including the different endings and story routes!)

Now Katy is off the train, you can talk to her on twitter: http://twitter.com/WildCardKaty - :D

If you haven't had enough comics for the day, please be sure to check out my other comic Those of No Class! http://thoseofnoclass.smackjeeves.com/

If you want to help me eat more than bread, please consider buying from my store: http://www.nattherat.co.uk/store.html
The finale is nine pages. I'll see you on the other side.

Some very important news: Since What is it Katy? is now about to finish its run, I have started an Indiegogo campaign to help print the finished collected book as I can't afford to print it on my own. There are various perks to be had if you donate (like pre-orders and original artwork!). Any help you can give me would be hugely appreciated, even if it is just to spread the word about Katy! You can find the campaign here: http://www.indiegogo.com/What-is-it-Katy?a=342248

Katy has a twitter account if you'd like to talk to her on there: http://twitter.com/WildCardKaty - :D
