Comment on Escapism of Loose Cannon

I wasn't planning on another Gotrobot comic so soon, mainly because I like to put some
space between them (for impact purposes), and because I had a few ideas already lined up
for production. I did have a Got comic in mind, though this isn't it. That idea will be
done eventually, though probably not for a while.
I made this one because I sorta liked the idea. Well, I liked the lowest panels, which were inspired by the gifs. The rest I slapped together quickly and called it a comic. If the upper panels are out of whack, this is the reason. Furthermore, while the other ideas I had are solid (and perhaps more humorous in the traditional sense), they didn't really interest me artistically, and my work ethic is currently low. Enjoy.

I'm not sure what this is a comment on. Maybe those automated phone things, though I don't
mind those so much. Maybe the inevitable replacement of worker by machine, and the
resulting isolation. Whatever it is, draw your own conclusion.
This one features no recycled art (how wasteful) and instead features two(?) new characters. No major problems with the design, and in fact everything turned out well. I'm especially pleased with the robot. Will they appear again? Hard to say, like the other infrequent characters, I'll bring them back if I have a decent idea. Enjoy.

Comment on Fair Weather, Part II of Loose Cannon

Regular readers may notice a recurring plot element.
And as such, the short Fair Weather saga comes to a close. In case you're wondering, this is an old, old idea that's been around in my notebooks waiting for a chance to be made into a comic. And finally, here it is.
The biggest problem the comic gave me was the look of the homeless guy. Took me several tries, in fact. Aside from that, the rest of the design was pretty easy. Enjoy.

A sequel of sorts to Probably Illegal, as you may or may not have guessed.
I'll admit it's not that funny. In fact, the only reason I'm using an idea of this caliber (hahaa, pun) is because it sets the scene for what is to follow. That's right, the "Part I" in the title is not just for show.
Anyways, minor work in this one, most notably the IV line and a few facial expressions. Once again I couldn't keep it under 6 panels, and it seems to me that is the new default number. Oh well, enjoy.

problem if it was about current events, which it isn't.
The art worked out pretty well. I'm especially proud of the mask (which admittedly took a number of failed attempts to get right). In fact, it's so good, I might use at again at first opportunity (what, I like gas masks). Sy's symptoms worked out well too, and I will admit that his tiny eyed look somehow feels more natural than the regular version. I may incorporate this in later designs, though I'm not sure at the moment. Enjoy.

I find it mildly amusing that the statue Raze uses a newer cell phone than the real
one.
Anyways, yes, it's the same char from Morale Booster, just with colors tweaked a little to give it an oxidized copper look. Try to guess where the other two characters are originally from (it shouldn't be too hard).
This one turned out pretty well, in all respects. The statue the phone, the speech bubbles, you get the idea. The only thing not to my original vision was less blank panels (what, they make things funnier), but it's 6 panels as is, any more would just be overkill. My ideal number of panels tends to be 5, and I only use more (or less) if the idea demands it. Enjoy.
