In Half-Life 2: Episode 1, you can hear a Rebel say, "I hated Breen but I loved his show, remember when he brought on those jugglers?"
This plays on the comment.

You could make it so Kyouhei still, later on, still tries to hook up with Tetsu but it's handled in a comedic way, xD I'd love to see that

It seems to me that this comic plays with the fact that CPs in Half-Life 2 will always cal for backup, no matter how small the threat. You could be wandering through City 17 and see this.
