a relic from the ancient past.

so i rediscovered this gem after like 2 years? and it was great, because i had like 100+ pages of fresh content to pile through. and ive been keeping up with it for the last few weeks since then, but im only commenting now lmao.

i just wanted to let you know how absolutely about this comic i am? im desperately tryna get my friends to read this, bc im all hyped on it in my own corner, alone.

but serious time, your sense of humor is on point and this comic flows really well. I mean, your art style is also super great, but what gets me is how genuinely funny and engaging it is. It's well written. tbh you got me feeling all inspired to run back and revive my old writing projects.

just out of curiosity, how do you plan out your pages? Do you go with the flow or do you have a detailed outline somewhere? Apologies if you already answered this somewhere, redirect me and ill take a look at your answer there.
oh god i used to read your old comic and i came back to check this site for the first time in 2 years??? and god im so happy you made another comic for these characters. Especially herz jfc. Your comic was one of the top 5 favorites i still remember after all this time auuaga and the last update was only last month jfc im so flipping excited you have no idea bless you
am I the only one who's more interested in the story than how fast one character can get into the other's pants because according to these comments the majority of you seem to have one thing on your mind.

Hello, I really like your comic and I think your art is lovely. But on this page, Matias and Theodoro (hope I got their names right) look very similar and it's a little confusing? I'm not sure which one it is in the bottom panel. Maybe just change the shading a little. I remember one of them having darker hair than the other so that'd solve the problem quickly. Keep up the great work!

It works like a garden hose.
XD I can see your style change between the two pages! Has it been that long?!

Ahh, but no worries, it's changing for the better C:

This was hilarious. I don't care what anyone says, it was amazing. If you weren't just trolling and you legitimately did all this just to deleted the comic as soon as you were done, I don't think I could even find it in my heart to be mad, because it was just that god damn hilarious.

And I'll comment more often vwv Just because you're really fucking funny, and you deserve to be reminded of that once in a while.

I'm laughing so hard right now.
If you read most of the comments, they mostly said something along the lines of "If you HAVE to end the story, then we support you, but at least tell us what happens."

I'm pretty sure that's what's going on right now. She's telling us the rest of the story real quick before she goes, and she picked this format because it's 1) funny and 2) fast and easy. Sure she could have just written a enormous paragraph and had everyone read it but where's the fun in that?

And also, for all the people complaining that "this isn't in the same tine tone as the rest of the comic," um, did you read the rest of the comic? It only recently got a little more dramatic, up until now this whole story has been absurdly funny and unpredictable. If this isn't absurd or unpredictable I'm going to need someone to explain to me what a blatant lapse into a Homestuck ripoff IS. Sorry if you don't think it's funny, but try not to get so god damn butthurt about it.

Really, you are all taking this shit way too god damned seriously. Lighten the fuck up. God, you throw a little drama into a comedy series and all of a sudden everyone's underwear flies up their asshole. "WHAAA THIS IS A FUCKING ATROCITY AGAINST THE REST OF YOUR MASTERPIECE! STOP BEING SILLY AND DO YOUR SILLY COMIC THE NORMAL SILLY WAY BECAUSE THIS NEW SILLY WAY CONFUSES AND ANGERS ME." Holy shit. Calm the fuck down.

And that's really all I have to say. Hey, it'd be nice if she told us what the hell was going on but, oh well! It's really not something to leave a nasty, raging comment over. And who knows, maybe this IS all just one big joke and she'll go back to normal!
Okay, I'm going to be like everyone else and say "I don't comment but omg I am here D: "

I have a lot of reasons for not commenting. Mostly it's because I don't have much to say and because I follow like 100 separate comics sooo lmfao it's a lot to sift through daily

But I genuinely found your comic to be one of the 1) more interesting ones and 2) possibly the funniest.

Anyway, it's up to you. If you don't have time and you don't wanna continue, that sucks :C if not then that's awesome and you can count on me reading! But either way, do what you want to do. Don't stop because you're not getting the feedback, and don't continue because you are. You gotta enjoy what you're doing to be motivated, not feel obligated.

But if it isn't too much to ask...can you at least like...tell us what happens lmfao? If you don't wanna it's totally understandable but it's gunna drive me nuts to never find out XD;

This page is so epic.

I legitimately laughed out loud when I read this. Hysterically.

It really is true that the more popular something becomes, the more there's a "love it or hate it" mentality about it.

For the record, I love Homestuck, but I hate the fandom and I don't participate in it. I can understand why people would think it was stupid. It takes a ridiculously long amount of time to pick up, and I didn't actually read the whole thing until my 3rd or 4th try. But the people who say they love it are always the people who follow through and judge it as a whole, and the people who hate it are always the people who couldn't or woudln't follow through becasue they judged it very early on. It's got a sense of humor and story telling style that is extremely unconventional, and the bottom line is not everyone is going to like it, and that's fine.

But, as with anything that gets popular, if you don't like it then obviously it's the stupidest thing ever and everyone who likes it is likewise stupid.

As for what it's about? Well, it's pretty much about the end of the world, and then the end of the universe, and then the end of the universe that created that universe, and then the end of existence, and then the end of time and space, and so on and so forth, all tied in with the idea of this cosmic "game" by which all universes are created. But really, it's just an insanely complex, confusing, detailed story of awe-inspiring proportions that presents itself in such an absurd manner with such a strange sense of humor that the whole thing borders on satirical. The point of Homestuck is to be a fun mix of being insanely confused and being dryly hysterical. The exact plot becomes almost arbitrary. It's just amusing, it's fun. Nothing to get that worked up over, really, but it can be quite addicting.

Lmao, I didn't go to comicon/animefest, but all my friends told me the number of homestuck cosplayers was insane.
@phoenixgem: I'm sorry, this is totally random but, what in god's name is happening in your icon XD it's hilarious!
I have to say, this is one of the very few comics on smackjeeves that actually make me laugh out loud. Your sense of humor is hysterical, I love it XD
My favorite character is Riona becasue she's so funny and cute :3 But I actually like Chakin too...o3o;
