BioTube beat me to it.

But yeah, frozen water is less dense, but you still have the same total mass. So for the water parts you have a slightly bigger fat man with less weight concentrated in one area. Counteracting the frozen water's lower density, though, everything not water in him is going to get denser. So he's probably around the same density overall.

Before anyone asks why he doesn't explode with contracting skin and expanding insides, it's not enough of a difference to cause that.

Did Ryan ever actually say the comic would end at the end of the countdown?

Yes, Malroth, violence obsessed psychopath. Right.

The chick who does bounty hunting for free to save people.

Not noble at all.

I'd say Samus is a warrior. She has Greater Cleave (I forgot what it's called, but the beam that goes through enemies), Power Attack (Charge Beam), a combination of Spring Attack and Whirlwind Attack (Screw Attack), and she's demonstrated close combat ability in addition to her ranged combat ability, while rangers specialize in one or the other.

She still gets the benefits of a surprise round no matter what class she is, though, so sneak attacks don't particularly matter in this case.

Or, option 3: It's an entirely new power suit for Samus, and a new body for Duo. Neither of them are entirely familiar with it, and they probably haven't figured out its most powerful attacks yet. So they made a wild guess.

Shike: Energy and matter can be converted into each other. However, this does not mean energy has mass; energy doesn't have any. In fact, the defining characteristics of matter are volume and mass, so if you have mass, you have matter.

As for the second point, it entirely depends on how in the world plasma weapons work in the context of the comic. If either of the real-world plasmas were used then they would have weight, since there's just blood plasma (blood plasma cannon! Perfect for disgusting your enemies!) and the 4th state of matter. If he makes something up, it's likely to be energy.

@ Cobalt-60

He doesn't have a death grip on either of Tail's tails; at most, he's grabbing a couple hairs.

They're both out of energy, Tails is just fine, and he can fly under his own power. Why doesn't he just fly off, since they're useless now?

Ah, that's why I don't know what they are, they come from a game I never played.

I love the Tails sprites in the second and third panels. However, my enjoyment of these is tainted by confusion: What the heck is Extreme Gear mode?
