Mannack has been laid off, and the Hoomuns are to blame, those hitherto mythological childhood terrors are taking all the jobs. Only by adopting a Blade Runner-esque persona can Mannack scratch the surface of corruption at the heart of this crisis, but as nefarious political machinations are brought to light Mannack finds himself in the role of a cyborg Oskar Schindler as he sets about emancipating these poor meat-based organisms...
