Shawn, a teenage boy who’s always on guard, has a life-changing encounter with Kat, the new girl whose ready start her first day in a real school. When Shawn’s sister discovers an ancient book that’s been uncovered from an ancient ruin she accidentally unleashes its curse all over their town. To make matters worse, a mischievous spirit named Zekotal was released from the book and accidentally fused with Shawn. Witches cause chaos, spirits possess cupcakes, and school bullies possess monster minions. It’s up to Shawn, Kat, and the mysterious Zekotal to save the town and undo the curse.
