Reno teen Quin Roberts can’t stop the psychedelic gunk coming from his eyes, and makeup only covers so much. It’s telltale residue from Empathic interaction with “them,” the aliens that invaded 30 years ago. Empaths are taken away for training, to help when the Kapoor Method mental defenses fail. But Quin’d rather hide in black eyeliner and pilfered booze than fess up to his fledgling powers. Besides, the only person he wants to help is his troubled crush, Damien. The gunk isn’t Quin’s only problem. “They” keep appearing around school, looking like him! He doesn’t want his friends to get hurt, but he can’t tell them the truth, either-- especially not under the school Empath's watchful eye. Everything’s spiralling out of Quin’s control, but he won’t let them take him away. That’ll leave Damien alone, and he promised not to let that happen. Not again. --- Full-Spectrum Therapy has soft boys who cry and hairy girls who rock and is complete at 580 pages. Thanks for reading!
