Two free thinkers. One war. Frances Brian Haley is the son of a British nobleman, and grew up with his twin sister Heather Elizabeth Haley in a rich household in the late 1700s. Jude Adams grew up in a mediocre household on a farm with his two younger brothers and younger sister in America. Taking part of the army, Jude becomes a sniper on America's side, under George Washington, while Frances becomes the company commander of 100 soldiers on the British side. A really weird time and place for a romance, actually. [Both Frances and Jude are completely fictional characters, but I've done lots of research on this matter so no other facts should be faulty].
