On Hiatus
Welcome! This is the blog for the web comic Tom, the kinda rogue mind flayer. The comic is about Tom, a mind flayer who one day wakes up to discover he can control the connection he has to the elder brain that controls his hive. This means he can have free thought and speech, while disguising this fact from the elder brain and his coworkers through mental/sensory blocks. In most stories, Tom would now try and escape or take down his colony from the inside, but that isn’t his style. You see, Tom wants nothing more than to be a good, productive member of the hive, and just wants a normal life (or whatever is normal for an illithid, at least). However, he fears that if he tells the elder brain of his newfound freedom, he’ll be suspected of treachery. So he just goes about his normal life, rambling on to non-responsive coworkers and examining things through a whole new lense of life. TtKRMF (We’ll work on that acronym, hopefully) is written by @tomahawkbunny and drawn by @marzipanrose We have no schedule as of yet, but we will bring content whenever possible.
