Clock on 'user control panel' in the top left corner of the window, then go to Profile, then Edit Signature.

There you can link comic with this code:
Code: Select all
[url=*URL OF YOUR COMIC*][img]*URL OF YOUR COMIC BANNER*[/img][/url]

(also wrong forum, questions go in new questions :P)

It means the web address of the banner. It should end in an image format, such as .jpg, .png, or .gif.
If you already have an image uploaded somewhere (like if you just want to use the same banner that you're using on SJ to represent your comic), you can right-click on it and go to something like "Properties" to find it. If you're using Firefox as your web browser, there might also be a "Copy Image Location" option when you right-click, which copies the URL directly.

He said with a wink.

(other mods: should we also move this to a more visible subforum or is the stickying alone enough?)

Stickying should be enough. Questions in New Questions are expected to be unanswered, so I doubt people would be any more likely to read a sticky there. What we could sticky is a big "CHECK RESOLVED TOPICS BEFORE POSTING HERE, FFS" thread with a link to this subforum xP

Lol. We could make that a gif and tile it and make it the background of the forums and we would still have "how do I shot web" threads anew each week.

Yes we would.

But really, I feel like we have very few repeat threads compared to most places. There are a few perennial favourites like editing signatures and creating image links that come mostly from people who are new to forums in general and are too new to realise that forum etiquette says they should search old threads before making new ones, but for more exotic problems, people do tend to look for prior threads and bump those up instead of making new ones.
