Timeouts / Slow Response Times

Has anyone else been experiencing occasional server timeouts and slow response times? Every now and then the server just seems to freeze for me, and I'm wondering if other people are experiencing the same issue.

I've experienced it only once so far.

It was when I sent you the PM about being a mod, SJ was stuck for awhile.

I thought it might've been my connection so I clicked around things on another window but it just turned out to be SJ.

Happens to me on the forums, but I kind of just assumed it was my browser/ISP. That being said it happens on a couple of other super high traffic sites like Google and Wikipedia, so perhaps it is a server issue.

It does happen to me, but usually only when my internet's already being slow because of stuff downloading, and then SJ slows down even more.
Generally it's fine though and I don't have problems.

Intermittently, but yes. Primarily on the forums, but when actively browsing either forums or comics, the load bar will just sit there until I get a "Taking too long to respond" error. I tested other URLs while that was happening, and they loaded well enough, so it doesn't seem to be on my ISP end.]

It's not a dealbreaker; hitting refresh will get past it, but it does occur.

For people who were experiencing this, have you noticed it in the past few days? I myself haven't, and I think we might have fixed it.

Had no problems over the last few days, but I'll give you a heads up if it returns.
