Your heads are a bit too large. I can't really critique the style, as I'm not big into anime, but that's the main thing I saw. You have a good base though.

Thanks for the feedback! I'm working really hard on anatomy, shadings, and perspectives. I actually draw American manga style. But yeah.

Thank you again! I'll keep working on them until I get it right. :)

Hi Aurora,

I love the passion that comes through in your work. I really like the imaginative approach you take with it as well. As far as crits go, I would say to get a lil' loose with the sketches to build that dynamic foundation that you're looking for, I think (though could be wrong) that your work is a tad on the stiff side bcuz of that. I look forward to seeing your stuff in acoupla years though... ;)

I apologize for the late reply. Thank you guys so much for the feedback and critique! Look forward to chatting with you all as well.

It's been years since I've been on here. The reason for that was because I was on hiatus due to life. I was also planning out my comic for the future. I believe I still have a long way to go as a creator. But deep down, I am passionate for what I do. No matter what happens, I will never give up. All I want to do is send a good message out through my story. I am very happy to have created Cryptic Yume.

That's all I wanted to say. Here are a few thing's I've worked on.

I'm wondering if the perspective for my superheroine with the scythe is good. Is there anything I could've done differently? Also, how is the background?

Image

Lately, I've been doing more facial expressions. How are the facial expressions here?

Image

Lastly, I've been working on buildings and perspective. How is this one here? Is there something I could've done differently?

Fun stuff, good energy. I like how you are filling up the page in your sketchbook. Do more of that. Also, draw from life more-something we all should do all the time. blah. blah.
keep going!

Thank you, dnewbold! I'll be sure to do that as well. Once I get the hang of drawing realistic settings, I'll show it on here. :)

These are the new characters for my next chapter. I've been learning to draw drapery as well.

Image

I've also been working on foreshortening on objects. As you can see in this drawing, I wanted to do a foreshortening on the scythe.
