Self-Promotion Rules

    1) You may make ONE thread per comic. Not a new thread every month, not a new thread every bump, not a new thread for each author of the comic. ONE thread. That's it.

    2) You may bump once a month. A "bump" is when you post in your own thread in order to send it to the top of the topic listings. The initial topic, updates, news, contests, and all other types of promotional information count as bumps. Also, if your comic has multiple authors, your thread is not entitled to multiple bumps (i.e. one from each author).

    3) One conversational response per day. You may make one post per day in response to new comments left by visitors to your thread. Again, if your comic has multiple authors, your thread is not entitled to multiple thread responses (i.e. one from each author). If necessary, pick a single spokesperson for your Self-Promotion thread.

RADICAL - Crystal Dawn (Return to the 70's 80's & 90's)

Diamond Rose Bay, 19.91 - The Town of Warming Sunlight

Kaguya "Princess" Akiyama, a 15-year-old girl living her life in bliss within this coastal town. Long gone are the days of conflicts, advanced technology, and near-apocalyptic threats that could end the world in a blink of an eye. Now she resides with her mother, Etsuko Akiyama in peace and quiet and is free to experience the world at her own leisure. However, the 80's may be a past memory, but the lingering effects are still within the minds of those who witnessed such events, and some may even desire to bring them back...no matter what the cost.

RADICAL - Crystal Dawn is the very embodiment of the 70's, 80's, and 90's Japan. Set in a fictional world that shares many similarities to our own, Crystal Dawn was inspired by the many animes and mangas that filled Japan in the 20th Century. From the science fiction hits Akira, Ghost in the Shell, and Cowboy Bebop, down to the romantic comedies such as Sailor Moon and Kimagure: Orange Road, Crystal Dawn is my gift to the past. Bringing elements from retro games, television, music, culture, and animation back to the 21st century.

So hop in your Gunbuster, grab your Gameboy and Power Glove, turn on your Sega Genesis and handy Walkman, and get ready to take a nostalgic trip worth remembering.
