I'd rather celebrate the fact that you're still here and not just the thread :D

Better to have loved and lost then never to have thoughts off the top of your head at all? Just mention butts or poop. It always inspires a flurry of activity in this thread. There must be something innately human and relatable about it all.

90% of my sense of humor is such that explaining what I'm laughing about to actual adults completely ruins the joke and my enjoyment.

Well, nothing now.

I run into this a lot and have a bad case of "thinking about a hard-to-explain thing only I think is funny at an inopportune time."

I'm back from the longest trip I've ever been on and I'm mentally in the mood to finish unpacking and try to tidy up the place, but I'm physically tired and it's hard to keep moving around for very long.

I'm thinking about too much at once and am feeling an undercurrent of stress, and my husband starts his new job tomorrow and also has a million things to do so he can't give as much emotional support right now as I need.

On one hand I wish this place was more active, like how it used to be, but on the other hand, it's so wholesome, it feels like it might be lost if there were more people.

I definitely lean towards wishing the forums were super active again, but as I've said before I'll still be here until the day there's not a single soul left in town, just dirt and tumbleweeds.

I could stand the place to be livelier, but mostly I miss the people who used to be around a lot. Seven, I think until one of us dies it's just going to be you and me circling the drain posting guiltfully about whatever we're doing that isn't working on our comic...

You'll just be here, your own Beckett play.

"Shall we work on our comics?"
"Yes, let's work on our comics."

They do not move.

We could always organize some sort of "last hurrah" comic. Idk what it'd be about, but it'd be the best way to send off our mark on the community.

EDIT: Could be about this thread being personified as a bar, I remember that idea being tossed around way back ago. Just a silly little one off story about being friends.

Yeah, I don't know what you mean by last hurrah, I just started a comic a month ago and it's been going... okay, I guess? Not as good as I'd hope but it gets a few readers.

Okay maybe last hurrah was the wrong phrase to use, I guess the gloom is getting to me. Just something we can do I guess xP

The fact that people were more concerned over Spider-Man potentially/actually leaving the MCU over the Amazonian rainforest burning for three weeks straight makes me dissapointed in humankind. If the whole thing goes poof, at this point we deserve going extinct.
