We have a bunch of stray cats around our apartments, but one in particular has been getting to me. It's this tiny, Siamese looking guy, and he was sick for a while (kept sleeping in the bushes right next to our car). He seems better now, but he's still really...languid, I guess. He'll just lay there and watch us, and a couple times I've walked right up to him and he's just sat there looking at me before running off. It makes us really nervous, because some of the neighbours/kids are shitheads, plus I've seen him laying in the driveway before where someone could have hit him if they pulled just a little too far to the side. He's adorable, and sweet, and my husband and I both want to take him in, but we know it's just not an option right now. You need to toughen up, little kitten, so we don't keep worrying about you. :(

edit: nevermind.

I am never using clove oil to euthanize fish again. Shit melts plastic and reeks to high heaven and the bottle arrived slightly leaky to boot. Cheap vodka's not that hard to find.

Tore down the fish tank. It was gross and I am never keeping fish again (I'll probably have them again in 4 years because that's what happens). Hopefully I'll have the thing gone Sunday and I can do something with the space.

Bo has eyebrows over his left eye, but they are black, so you don't see them.

My girlfriend, who is now my ex-girlfriend, is still living in my house, in the spare bedroom. Her cat, Greygorie, instead of going to sleep with her on her bed, likes to sleep with me in my bed for some reason. I'll scratch his ears for a minute, he'll settle down and we'll both conk out. Meanwhile, whenever she would try to get the cat to sleep with her, he'd be hopping around all over the room, knocking stuff off her dressers and nightstand, and just proceeds to keep her up until she boots him out.

I've been in Texas for this whole month, and she's watching my house while I'm away. She just called to complain....since I flew down here, Greygorie still won't curl up with her unless she grabs him and carries him into the bedroom, and he still gets ornery with her. Instead, he curls up on my bed, next to where I usually lay down, and sleeps there. He also goes to the back door and meows incessantly at her when she comes home from work or school.

.....I think her cat is either trying to give her a hint, or, at the very least, misses me.

YOU GUUUYS, yesterday I went for a walk and a 4-moths-old St Bernard puppy walked over to me, licked my hands, then sat down on my feet and was refusing to leave.   I had to pull my shoes from under his butt (a VERY warm and soft butt I should add) because the owner was visibly awkward.

OMG Bo is kinda like Tim (Norrell's son) - he has white whiskers on the right side and black on the left side. I SHOULD POST PHOTOS SOMETIME.

Could be both!

My cat Rufus died. He was living at my dad's for a while, but he was still my baby. I held him the day he was born, and ever since, he always went straight to me. That's why my friend gave him to me, and why I knew he remembered me even after I moved back in with my mom, then friends, then was on my own. I really wanted to bring him to live with me.

I'm trying. :)

My younger siblings got two bunny rabbits a few weeks ago. Their names are Hoppel and Spencer Reid and they are ridiculously active. They tolerate being picked up and usually approach humans even without being offered food, out of mere curiosity, but most of all they want to constantly climb, jump, and/or gnaw things.

I used to have a cockatiel and a budgie... as much as I miss them, I accept that I have no time for pets. They wouldn't be happy being all alone most of them. Pets aren't toys after all. There are times where I do miss them though.

A chance to brag about my dog? Yes please.

I've only ever had (and still have) one pet, a maltese dog named DJ. He's very, very sweet, and good with kids, to boot. I haven't seen him actually bite a person in a loooooong time :D
He's around 12-13 years old now? He's pretty low energy and usually sleeps, but keeps me company while I work. a 10/10 good boy

I adopted this sweet little bean of a shiba inu over a year ago and I love her so much. Her name is Matsuko and she just turned (guestimated because adopted) 2 years old! She's a soft, lovable little nugget and she makes me smile every day, even if she can be kind of a brat sometimes. <3

So I haven't introduced the Mouse in my house yet.

Originally my brother adopted her from a friend, but he couldn't take care of her. So at around 4 months, Mouse became mine. <3
