HRRNK HRRNK HRRRRRRRNNK!

HOLY CRUD I remember watching the Redwall TV series when I was in like, kindergarten? Anyway, I remembered seeing that show and was overjoyed when I discovered it was based on a book series that just so happened to be at my local library. Those are great books.

Also, the cartoon had Tim Curry playing a child abductor who wore a jester mask to cover up his disfigured face, who was also a fox. Good television.

Shit, yes! I really liked that show, or at least at the beginning. At some point they changed Robot Jones' voice from actually sounding like a robot to being just a regular kid voice, and i don't know if there were other contributing changes at the same time or if it was just due to that but that made me stop liking the show.

A lot of these cartoons got their start on Oh Yeah! Cartoons and similar shows. It's kind of interesting to remember a time when Nickelodeon had considerably more variety than it seems to have these days. You'd think with all the substations that networks tend to have these days there'd be even more variety, but it doesn't appear to actually be that way, which is a shame.

I used to watch this back in the 90s I think it was. I had forgotten all about it. It was a great show!

Disney is the best for obscure cartoons though, like Dave the Barbarian, Gargoyles, The Legend of Tarzan mentioned above, Get Ed, SlugTerra, Lloyd in Space, Super Robot Monkey Team Hyper Force Go!, and Kong among others. Some of these are more obscure than others.

Yes, I remember Robot Jones and Lloyd in Space. Heck I freakin' hated Lloyd in Space.

Most cartoons (some of these I admit to not watching but I remember seeing adverts for them on TV)...
-Braceface
-Science Court
-Tokyo Pig
-Cubix
-Medabots
-101 Dalmatians: The Series
-The Buzz on Maggie
-Detention
-Fighting Foodons
-Coconut Fred
-Road Rovers
-Mad Jack the Pirate
-Ned's Newt
-Mighty Ducks
-Rotten Ralph
-Big Guy and Rusty the Boy Robot
-Princess Gwenevere and the Jewel Riders (for the longest time, I thought this was Sailor Moon, I saw it when I was 4-ish and it is about magical girls)

"Braceface" was a great example of what child-me expected later middle school to be like based on children's media. Also her one best friend's skin was literally the same color as his scleras.

I remember Mighty Ducks being the first thing I had legit foamy nerd rage over. I don't know what that says about me. BUT! In the vein of this fine thread, I submit:

-Samurai Pizza Cats
-The Adventures of Bucky O'Hare(buckyyyyyyyyyy~capt bucky o'hare!)
-The Cowboys of Moo-Mesa
-Biker Mice from Mars

And a gem that I had remembered only as 'that weird adult fish cartoon that aired before Nightmare Cafe', Fish Police. I used to watch this and Nightmare Cafe habitually, and watching it now, I still kind of love it. The punning! THE PUNNING!

More that popped into my head...
-Catscratch
-Sitting Ducks
-Squirrel Boy
-The Cramp Twins
-Funky Cops
-Jojo's Circus
-Shuriken School
-Chop Socky Chooks
-Wulin Warriors (used mostly puppets but it's worth mentioning)
-Life with Louie
-Deko Boko Friends
-The Secret Files of the Spy Dogs
-The Magic Adventures Of Mumfie

(when I was little, I thought that the people who made Mumfie were high or something. There is a term "seeing pink elephants" means your so drunk that you start seeing things, add a flying pig and you got this show. It was also very surreal for my young PreK mind)
