FFAs and dubs are fun, but I want to do some hardcore 1v1 training with those things. Especially against you, Afro. I'm prepared to get fired up, rectally annihilated, pessimistic and mopey, then rinse and repeat.

What have you been using all those fights?

Lately I've been using the Wii U Pro Controller, but about half of our fights were with the Classic Controller Pro.
I've been swapping between the two at lengthy intervals since Smash 4 came out, things always feel perfect at some points but painfully off at others, so I caved and decided it's time to return to the GC Controller. Jacob and I split the cost of ordering an official adapter + 2 official Smash 4 GC Controllers. It just seems like the GC controller would fit perfectly between the two I've been using, which is wild because I'm usually super against asymmetrical analog sticks.
Spoiler! :
Plus they can be used for PC games and stuff so that'll be nice.

Wouldn't you need an adapter to use the Pro Controller on PC?

Also, I uploaded some recent Smash fights on YouTube and posted them on the gaming videos thread.

Actually I've never thought of trying to use a Pro Controller on my computer. I'm sure it wouldn't be anymore complicated than using DS3/DS4, though.
The GC Controllers are what need dat adapter.

So, tonight at around 9PM and/or tomorrow at anytime, I might be willing to go online. Is anyone else really feeling it?

EDIT: Disregard those dates. Anyway, maybe at the end of the year, like at December 30 or 31? Chances are, I'll bring my brother-in-law with me on those online fights and Rain said he'll be likely to join these days, since he'll get those GC controllers. So, just in case, there'll be only one slot left for any of you. Aaaaaaand that is if Rain does not bring one of his real-life buddies.

But, if either one or both are no-shows, feel free to claim one of the two spots. Because Nintendo decided to not allow 8-player online matches.

I am afraid of what my Lucario Amiibo is up to...

It took eight Homerun Bat smashes when its level was in the mid-20s, even when it looked like I was going to miss.

How long do we have to wait until we learn of when in Feburary does the last batch of DLC come out?

Since I don't work tomorrow, anyone free for Smash today? I start becoming available at around 14:00 EST. It may also involve some custom moves.

Also, have this.

Sorry for the bump, but you can get the DLC characters on Feburary 3rd.

So they're finally here! Ahhh I can't wait, this is gonna be so hype! I've been seeing a few gameplay videos here and there of the characters, they look really solid. Great potential all around.

In case any of you don't know, Corrin and Bayonetta are out.

The big question is: anyone willing and able to play Smash with me today or tonight? Well, mostly once I'm done eating, that is: I mean, I have the regular food, but I also have one giant-sized Reese cup.

Why? Well, practicing Corrin against the AI can only go so far, amirite?

I might find time for a few matches later on. I'll hop on Steam and see if you're still available when I have some spare time for Smash.

Has anyone gotten the hang of Bayonetta yet? I've been messing with her and I can tell that in the hands of someone who knows what they;re doing, she will be OP as hell!
