I wanna back this now so much.

I'll back it when I actually have money.

I'm not sure if anyone here is into otome/otoge, but a person at another forum I frequent just Kickstarted her game called Destiny Fails Us.

I played the demo and enjoyed it! I was expecting it to be super moe, but it had some surprisingly dark moments. In a good, slice-of-life way. Anyway, I recommend a playthrough.

This is... this is going to make me pass out from excitement. You can even use it for traditional art and digital art! This is probably going to turn into a double edged sword that can turn into a crutch, but at the same time, it can be an incredibly powerful tool.

That is pretty freakin' cool. And I'm not sure how much of a crutch it could really become, since you still have to draw out multi-directional lighting. I can't wait to see a game actually utilising it.

This game looks pretty neat.
It's nice seeing artwork from someone associated with GoW3 that doesn't involve a pissed off bald guy and tired Greek mythology. It's also nice seeing something so imaginative coming from ex-Infinity Ward peeps. I'll have to keep an extra special eye on this one just because it's so surprising to hear who's behind such a cool-looking game!

Nothing's been posted here in a bit, so I'll post a couple recent Kickstarters I thought looked good.

Duelyst has a really beautiful pixel style. Not necessarily that interested due to a focus on a multiplayer turn-based tactical, as I tend to do shit in competitive turn based, but it looks damn pretty.

Ashen Rift: A man and his dog looks like they made an actually good shooter with a dog companion. Suck it, Ghosts.

Planets³ looks interesting for another voxel-based exploration kinda deal.

Otherwise, I'm still waiting for some of the projects I backed to come out, namely Shantae: Half-Genie Hero, Sealark, The Banner Saga, and A Hat in Time.

Wow Duelyst looks really great ... awesome!
I like it when sprites are that detailed. I like good sprites even more than full HD polygon models.

Here's a little something that looks fun.

The best part is that everything is procedurally generated: levels, missions, bosses...

Did anyone here back Mighty No. 9? Because they're apparently aiming to make a show now.

He also has another stretch goal up for full voice acting in the game. Dunno why as he got loads of money before but alright.

One of my friends from art school is working on a neat little puzzle game called "oxygen" that managed to reach it's funding goal. Go check it out, it's pretty stellar!

Hey guys! I forgot to post this back when we started, but a game I've been working on for 8 months is in it's last day of Kickstarter! It's a RTS free-to-play mobile game, and I do the art for it!
