Ahahahaha I think I got it then. But I'll let someone else guess the individual movies, I'm not familiar enough to do it without using wiki which feels like cheating since I know smoeone around here can likely get them without resorting to it.

Requoting for the new page:

Can you give us another hint on yours?

They all feature the same protagonist.

mikemacdee wrote:1) Hero goes on a trip to the caribbean to have a word with a very disagreeable physician.
2) A phony aristocrat finds himself surrounded by beautiful, cultured women.
3) A saintly gent gets his hands on a lot more tail than usual.
4) Angry best man doesn't like how his buddies are doing their job, so he quits and goes freelance. Ends up having a real gas.
5) This guy has to break something in outer space. Again. With a much less qualified female sidekick.
6) Our hero proves the age-old saying that you can never go home again. Because some asshole will blow it up.

Nope.

You'll have to guess the individual movies on the list. I won't respond to any other guesses on the series as a whole, 'cos that's a bit too easy.

EDIT: Here's one more clue though, which ought to help.

They all feature the same protagonist...but each has a different lead actor.

I'm bad at guessing, so I'm just gonna go ahead and put another movie here;

So... there's this guy who drives an oldtimer way too fast and who ends up shipping his own parents like they're his OTP.

Back to the future

That's correct!

This has been tearing at my brain all week, I really don't think I have seen the series though.

Huehuehuehuehue...I'm almost certain you have.

Man, I'm running out of clues that don't totally give it away.

In #1 the protagonist was Scottish. He's been English ever since, except that one time when he was Australian.

In #1 the protagonist was Scottish. By the events of #2, he was Australian very briefly. He's been English ever since.

The James Bond movies? I don't know...

Can't respond to series guesses. Surely somebody has seen one of these.

I'm going to have to agree with Randumbz that it's James Bond. It's been a while since I binged the series though, so my memory is fuzzy.
1. Dr. No (goes to Jamaica)
2. On Her Majesty's Secret Service
3. The Man With the Golden Gun? I vaguely recall that one having a lot of ladies even for a Bond film, and Roger Moore was in The Saint before he was Bond.
4.Goldeneye? Though no gas in that movie as I recall.
5. Goldeneye? The sidekick in Moonraker was competent I think, while in Diamonds Are Forever there's no "again."
6. Skyfall

AAAAAHHH so close, Eishiya! So close!

1. Correct! ("disagreeable" physician, ha-ha)
2. Correct! (Bond stops a plot to use young women as plague carriers)
3. Incorrect
4. Incorrect, but not far off.
5. Incorrect. Natalia Simonova was actually useful!
6. Correct! (Bond returns to his orphanage, which gets obliterated)

Remember all the clues are basically groaners.

There's a lot of birds. Somehow global warming is tied into this to do with bird flu? Majority of the movie is just terrible acting and terrible sound quality--don't forget acid-spitting birds!

Did I mention that there was birds?
