Since no one else is guessing, I'll reveal the answers to my clues, which were all James Bond films.

1) Hero goes on a trip to the caribbean to have a word with a very disagreeable physician.
2) A phony aristocrat finds himself surrounded by beautiful, cultured women.
3) A saintly gent gets his hands on a lot more tail than usual.
4) Angry best man doesn't like how his buddies are doing their job, so he quits and goes freelance. Ends up having a real gas.
5) This guy has to break something in outer space. Again. With a much less qualified female sidekick.
6) Our hero proves the age-old saying that you can never go home again. Because some asshole will blow it up.

1. Dr. No ("disagreeable" physician, ha-ha)
2. On Her Majesty's Secret Service (Bond stops a plot to use young women as plague carriers)
3. Octopussy (Moore played the Saint on tv, plus bad sex pun)
4. License to Kill (Bond's friend Leiter is assaulted at his wedding, Bond goes rogue and stops villain's gas/heroin operation)
5. Die Another Day (Second time Brosnan Bond has to destroy a satellite plot. Plus Halley Berry sucks.)
6. Skyfall (Bond returns to his orphanage, which gets obliterated)

Seems fun. I'll post mine since I guess there's nothing to answer at the moment(?)

So check this out this guy ya know, from the big city and stuff because he writes some wicked s*** so he can afford dat Wall St. liquor, had this little mishap with his car you see? This fat chick saved him and saw the writing, she's like nuh uh you ain't gonna write this s*** so she lit it up like The Burning Man festival. City dude had to like do it over in this fat chicks own way but city dude is like getting the heevie jeevies in da fat chicks crib so he goes snoop'n' like dogg. Fat chick catches him and goes Amy Rose all over him, ya know like baka baka, real crippling him too. He gets the writing done and celebrates with his own Burning Man all up in this writing and the fat chick is getting super pissy now and epic battle commences. Fat chick dies.

You should have read a bit more than just the thread title xP The point of this thread is to describe a film and have other people have to guess what it is. If you give the film's title and such recognizable character names, it defeats the purpose.

Sometimes we go months without solving some of these. You don't need to give a hint just yet

You can give us a hint. And the lack of responses is just a lack of activity I think- there's a lot of movies people posted in here that got skipped over when people couldn't figure the answer out, not that the thread stops when people post an unguessable film.

edit: Dang I can't remember the last time someone else posted while I was in the post-box

Thank you for the nostalgia rush. I remember watching that movie when I was VERY young and being terrified/hating it, but in true child form still watching it over and over????? When we were getting rid of old VHS movies a few years ago I came across it and didn't have the heart to throw it out, thinking it might be worth trying to watch it to see whether it was worth the ire my four year old self felt toward it
