Spoiler Alert: A game of pop-culture mix and match!

Postby HwoThumb » February 9th, 2014, 10:00 pm

I was bored! I made a game! Now I'm not bored!

How Spoiler Alert works is that you make a set of questions with mix and match answers. The poster below you will try to match them up and make a set of their own. The questions will be about movies, video games, and books. Topic might include character quotes, character names, events, plot synopsis, etc.

Just answer the questions of the person above you and then create your own set. It's fun! Trust me!

I'll begin:
Match the plot twist or reveal to its movie
Movies
Spoiler! :
A. The Sixth Sense
B. Clue
C. Citizen Kane
D. Signs
E. Serenity
F. A Beautiful Mind
G. The Village
H. Murder on the Orient Express
I. And Then There Were None
J. Inception

Choices
Spoiler! :
1. It was his sled
2. They made the monsters
3. Everyone dies
4. Everyone did it
5. Everyone and the butler did it
6. He made his wife commit suicide
7. Water is their weakness.
8. He was dead the whole time.
9. He's schizophrenic
10. The werewolves are fake

Yo, I made a game with lasers and spaceships and bounty hunters and conspiracies and teleporters and aliens.
I probably should have mentioned the aliens first.

Spoiler! :
A. The Sixth Sense - He was dead the whole time.
B. Clue - Everyone and the butler did it
C. Citizen Kane - It was his sled
D. Signs - Water is their weakness.
E. Serenity - They made the monsters
F. A Beautiful Mind - He's schizophrenic
G. The Village - The werewolves are fake
H. Murder on the Orient Express - Everyone did it
I. And Then There Were None - Everyone dies
J. Inception - He made his wife commit suicide

I haven't seen all of these, so I may have gotten a couple backwards, but process of elimination...

Can we avoid the chaos of the "Decribe a Film" thread by saying that correct answers have to be given before a new set can be put up?

Assuming my answers are right, though, here's my set:
Spoiler! :
1) You wave at people.
2) You make friends.
3) You blow everyone up with a flashlight.
4) You find teeth.
5) You shoot walls.
6) You "make" friends.
7) Loot: The Game

a) Overlord
b) Portal
c) Abe's Oddysee
d) Borderlands
e) Alan Wake
f) Dragon Age
g) Alice: Madness Returns

The problem with waiting to confirm your answers, though, is that it stops the game dead while we wait for a reply.

Also, I don't know enough of these to try. :P

Yeah, but if you don't do that, everyone starts posting whatever they like and you end up with a dozen never being answered. Maybe just state that you have to answer the last one in order to post your own, and if it's wrong then someone else can take a shot at it.
