Rules

    1) Use descriptive titles for your threads. Example: "How do I upload comics?" Do not use vague titles like, "question," "HELP! ANYBODY??"

    2) Describe your problem in detail. Explain exactly what is wrong. Post images, screen shots, links, code snippets - whatever is relevant. The better the information you provide, the better the solution you will receive.

    3) One question per thread. Do not post multiple questions in one thread; that way, we can resolve questions individually. Make a new thread for each question you have, unless your questions are closely related.

    4) Be polite. The more polite you are, the more people will want to help you. Be patient, and we will help you find the solution to your problem.

If your question has been resolved, please say so. A thank you would also be nice. If your question has NOT been answered, say so in the original topic. If your topic has been moved to resolved, you may then AND ONLY THEN post a new topic regarding the same issue.

How do I post the comic's preview images?

There's the image when you first look at the comic, the image when you click on it, and the image for in case you get a Comic Spotlight.

How do I upload these images?

Thanks, and have a nice day! :)

It sounds like you're talking about your comic's cover and spotlight banner. You can upload these in your comic's Edit Profile page. Note that the spotlight banner upload area will only show up if your comic has been Spotlit.

If you haven't yet created your webcomic, the Edit Profile page will show up when you're creating the comic.

To get to the Edit Profile page for a comic you've already created, there are three ways, choose whichever is more convenient for you:
A. Go to your comic's profile. Above the description is the Author Toolbar, click "Edit Profile".
B. Click the "My Comics" dropdown, and click the middle icon, the one that looks like a pencil and a box.
C. Go to your Dashboard, and click the comic's cover.

On the edit profile page, scroll down a bit and click "Site Profile & Settings". It has an icon of two gears next to it.

At the bottom of that page are the "Banner", "Comic Cover", and (if you've been spotlit) "Spotlight Banner" sections. Each one has a file upload bit, you should be able to click the "Browse" button to select your file, or drag your file to it. Each section also lists the size requirements for the images.

You do not have to upload a Banner unless your webcomic's site template uses it, or you want to just have a place to host it for your forum signature or something. If you have a cover (which you really should, so that your comic shows up on the front page), the banner isn't really used anywhere.
