Hey, I know I can't convince you of anything, but I noticed you changed something in the layout, the sidebar. Problem is, you separated those links way too much, lol. And if you go to your about page, you'll see the layout has been broken. Problem with your layout is that it won't stretch if the sidebar's much longer than the content area. So the links will overlap the rest of the layout.

I found no real way to fix it without changing the design itself. :( So the only thing I could do was keep it from stretching as possible, and if you separate each link in your menu too much, this will easily occur. So I noticed you changed the top margin of the links from 0.15em to 2.15em. My suggestion is that you keep it at less than 1em. Also, that you give your custom pages short names. We could also remove that hover effect.

Also, you haven't re-formatted your pages (assuming you just didn't have time), but doing so will also help.

And finally, here's a little something to fix your footer's borders when this stretching problem happens:

Replace your footer's CSS with this one:

Code: Select all
#footer {
font-size: 0.65em;
background: #ffffff url(http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v223/Arwym/SJ%20Template%20Request%20Summer%20Break/footerbg.png) top right repeat-y;
width: 867px;
clear: right;
margin: -3px 0 0 38px;
padding: 10px;
border-top: 3px solid #ca7383;
border-right: 3px solid #ca7383;
border-bottom: 3px solid #ca7383;
border-left: 3px solid #ca7383;
}

As for the Synopsis area in your site, I also noticed a problem there, something that I overlooked when I was working on your layout. Sorry about that. Luckily, here's a fix:

First, in your news/home page template, replace this:

Code: Select all
<h4>Synopsis</h4>
<p class="left">
{SITE_DESCRIPTION}
</p>

<!-- BEGIN latest_comic -->
<div class="right">
<a href="{latest_comic.URL}"><img src="{latest_comic.THUMBNAIL_IMG_SRC}" alt="latest page: {latest_comic.TITLE}" title="latest page: {latest_comic.TITLE}" /></a>
</div>

With this:

Code: Select all
<h4>Synopsis</h4>
<p id="synopsis" class="left">
{SITE_DESCRIPTION}
</p>

<!-- BEGIN latest_comic -->
<div id="latest-page" class="right">
<a href="{latest_comic.URL}"><img src="{latest_comic.THUMBNAIL_IMG_SRC}" alt="latest page: {latest_comic.TITLE}" title="latest page: {latest_comic.TITLE}" /></a>
</div>

And in your overall layout's css, add this somewhere:

Code: Select all
/* Synopsis and latest page areas */

#synopsis {
width: 82%;
}

#latest-page {
width: 15%;
}

That should fix the problem!

I'm sorry for the inconvenience. :( I hope this helps.
